Heey there all,

So after much trial and error... I finally figured out what was causing my miss. Seems that I had a bad set of plugs despite being told by the previous owner that they had just been replaced. :( Come to find that they were old and worn out...just plain nasty actually.

Anyhow, so decided to make a 7 hour drive to the beach in North Carolina and noticed a few things!

So it was on my way from NC to MD when I was going home. Left NC in great 85 degrees and sunny... AFRs at 4k cruise in 6th were 14.9-15.3 all the time. Got closer to home and the temperature was dropping like mad! IATs were 68 degrees and I was now running AFRs in the 12-13 range at the same cell that earlier was perfect.

Anyhow, I dunno if anyone here has done the full range of temperature corrections for their air temperature; but was curious to see. We're just now seeing cool weather and would love to compare my numbers to someone elses. Esp since it seems to me that I should be taking fuel away in cold weather and not adding.

Any help and advice is always appreciated!

My afr's richen up pretty drastically when temps go down as well. Goes from 14.9 to like low to high 13's. Haven't worked on that yet.

there is only one possible solution to the air temp correction map. it looks like this:

the theory behind it is based on the density of air at those temps. what's your coolant temp enrichment look like? you guys have logs of all temps and stuff?

I will have to run some logs tonight... could be the water temp since I have a big *** radiator in there too!

Gonna look tonight or tomorrow when the weather is cooler
