Default AEM 30-1710 Start up Help.

ill start with items:
96 motor, bottom and top end build.
AEM smart coils x4
AEM ECT
AEM IAT and GM MAP
Deatch Work 440cc.

Ive been on the phone with AEM tech for literally days now.
We have got all sensors set up and also sequential ign and inj setup.

Ign Sync is set to 3.7 which matchs the timing mark on pulley to T on timing cover.

It has inj. pulse and spark pulse.

Motor continually backfires. Will not start or even come close to a chug. Plugs are saturated in fuel.

AEM tech no longer has an ideas left on whats happening.

I will provide any further info required including an email of my current MAP if someone can point me in right direction.

Thank you to all who try to help me.

Sounds like your firing sequence is screwed, or your injectors are just staying on and not pulsing correctly. If possible I'd try to put stock injectors and coil back in, get it running with that, and then switch the injectors, get them running, and then switch the coils.

Your phasing is screwed up for sure. I'm not really sure what you did, since you moved the injector phasing all over the place despite not having altered the injector wiring (?) at all.

Go back to the basemap for a 30-1710 box, change ONLY your coil settings to switch from batch to sequential, and try again.

Our firing order is 1-3-4-2, FYI.

Mine was the same thing on my 97 and I was on the phone with AEM a while. Turns out the cylinder wires were mixed up (it was wrong even in the AEM book)
Switch them manually and see results...
