BorgWarner EFR 6758 Turbo

Vband Inlet / Vband Outlet EWG now available with 0.85 a/r!

The EFR 6758 is a remarkably versatile turbocharger, packaged in the compact B1 EFR frame. The compressor offers broad map width for outstanding power potential in a variety of applications from rally, drift, road racing, autocross, drag and street driven applications. This FMW compressor wheel measures 53.9mm inducer with 67mm OD compressor to support a 53lb/min max flow rate. The EFR 58mm turbine wheel is made of Gamma-Ti for low inertia and an optimal match for the FMW compressor wheel. Ideal for use in single turbo applications for the 300-450hp range, or as twin turbo applications 550-900+hp. Ceramic Ball Bearing only, watercooling recommended.

EFR6758,pump 93 plus water/meth. 35psi boost tapering down to 32psi at the top

Nissan SR20DET from ART (Australian Racing Technologies), tuned by Scott @ Insight Motorsports

"I sold the Trust turbo to a drift customer who currently runs it in his S14 making 350rwkw @ 25psi. But has also decided he wants more response. They're an antiquated design. Especially when you consider the spool speeds and performance of the Borg Warner EFR series turbochargers! The clear choice for me when choosing a turbo for this car. I was tempted to go larger after feeling the power of 300+. But decided to subdue myself and concentrate on what's most important - Useable power. Not ouright power. So opted for the EFR6758 (largest of the small frame T25 flange turbos) Rated at 500HP. Worried that the claim was optimistic given the turbos compact size, internal wastegate design, etc. We were hesitant, but hopeful. Reports were good at that stage. But I was one of, if not the first in the country to run this turbo. And WHAT A TURBO!!! It made 303rwkw @ 22psi and made full boost is by 3500rpm! (Eflex E85) But more important than numbers on a page, is how it feels and performs. It makes 100kw extra @ 100km/h!! That is a MASSIVE difference in driveability. Scott says it's every bit, if not more responsive than a standard SR turbo. But makes 300 all day!"

2.0L Subaru Bugeye WRX with EFR 6758 and E85

"here it is compared to my old 18G/7cm on the EJ205 (also on E85, and using the same road, tires and road dyno settings except for the new 4.44 Forester XT final drive). Keeping in mind the 3.9 would spool 200 RPM quicker, the EFR curve would completely envelop the 18G/7cm on EJ205 curve. The 4.44 tranny and AVCS from the 207 make the current setup WAY more drivable in real world conditions even though the dyno charts make the low end look the same... It sure as hell doesn't feel the same. ID1000s are essentially maxed. I believe these runs were 98% peak (injectory duty cycle). I'll be turning boost down some for daily driving to give room for winter temperatures and to give a little margin for the 5 speed. Realistically, this thing is plenty fast for me at 18-19psi."

2.5L Subaru STi 2005 with EFR 6758 @23psi VS 20gxtr @22psi (unleaded race gas for both)

"this is my 6758 making 415 on race gas at 23psi overlaid against 20gxtr 8cm at 22psi. I have every supporting mod 272 cams head work. I pushed that 6758 to the limit on race gas it made 420/440, this was on a low reading mustang dyno. Hit full boost 200 rpm latter then a stage 2 sti no lag. There is no lag! The 6758 isn't anything like a stage 2 car besides spool. I can put a semi length on my buddy stage 2 sti in any gear. Don't under estimate the power of the 6758 bc it's a badass turbo!"
