No its been cold and I blew up my DD again kinda. lol So I have been putting that back together. I will be making the charge pipes and exhaust soon so hopefully I can start tuning and will get to the radiator when I have time. It will have to be in spring to early summer because I don't think the little radiator will do the trick. I will update with some more pics as soon as I get them.

OK so I have been runing around like a crazy man learning to tune my honda with BRE and hoping for the best.lol At the same time I started to work on the miata again. I have the charge piping at work with me today and am hoping to get it cut and welded together. I will post pics when I get it complete. If all goes well since it is a total pita to mark the pipes then take them to work cut and weld and then check fit, I will do my exhaust next. I hope to be able to start tuning a bit in a few weeks.

On a side note I started to work on my charge piping and I figured out that the way I wanted to do it originally is not going to work. So the first pic is fail!! Then the next two are the way I want to do it so it goes under the distributor. I will post more pics when I get it done.

You are looking at a horrible disaster. I am making arraignments to have a welder and sawzall at the house next weekend so I can make it all new. I tried to mark it cut it and then take it to the shop weld it and bring it back to fit but one thing you cant see when you are not building it on the car is how shitty it will look. I will be making all new soon and finish the exhaust I hope and then I will show you all some pieces when done. I just wanted to document the failure so I do not forget.

I just wanted to let everyone know I went to Mandrel Bend Solutions in Pasadena MD today and they have an awesome scrap pile they charge $7 a bend for stainless and $5 for mild steel so I got plenty of 3" stainless to do my exhaust and some 180/45 combo bends in 2.5 mild to do my charge piping over. So stay tuned for pic this coming saturday when I finish my exhaust and charge piping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The right way.

Thats pretty close for not having the car there to measure. Keep up the good work. Also, I'm about to look really dumb, but why cant you flip the intake plentum and run the charge piping over the valve cover? You gotta make a cowl style hood anyway.

OK so today is the crapy cold day I have dedicated to making my exhaust and charge piping. I will be hopefully making all of it by the end of the day. When I have some pics I will post them up. Stay tuned for epic new exhaust and charge piping.

Ok so after a whole day of messing with it we have a winning solution. You will be happy to know that the piping is super legit now and you all will enjoy. In the pictures you can see where my meth nozzle will be mounted and you can also see that I will have a legitimate exhaust. I also still need to mount my maf and the bov but that should be done by the end of the week I hope. My exhaust is not done yet but it will be coming out the front bumper right in front of the passenger wheel. So let me know what you all think of the new set up. The charge piping will all be painted shinny black or wrinkle black not sure yet but I may go with wrinkle. Any input would be great. Also please ignore the meth line running against the exhaust that is not the final resting place just close it is not welded in yet.

I'm trying to understand the method to the madness, so please bear with me.
Maybe you already posted your reasoning for that clusterfawked routing, but can you go over it again?

I mean that looks downright moronic, but maybe there's genius to it and I'm just not seeing it.

Why would you not do a "traditional" supra turbo orientation?

Needs:

longer oil feed line for the turbo

wrinkle black charge pipes

heat shielding for the turbo, exhaust, and charge pipes

I don't know how I feel about the exhaust coming out of the front bumper...you will definitely scare the ---- out of people but you may also get exhaust fumes in your face when driving.

How else would you run a pipe from the compressor to the throttle body? Yeah sean watch out for fumes in your face. Lol NOT. Due to the size of the turbo, and that manifold oh and the fact its in a phucking miata the only way for it to fit was that way. So the routing of the downpipe and charge pipes had to go that way. You all act like that's the finished product.
