So after realizing I had an intake manifold leak I wanted to take the new manifold off and have the mating surface machined to make sure it was flat. Well with my luck I had broke it when installing it. Good news is I got it welded up and I am going to machine the surface today or tomorrow then mount it up again. I also got the new ecu installed and all the components that go with it. I now have IS300 coils wasted spark setup with the is300 ignitor. Also this ecu reads MAP and IAT instead of MAF so it already runs better. Here are the pics of my broken manifold and the repaired manifold should have it running this coming weekend.

Ok so new intake gasket came in last night will be mounting up the new "frixed" manifold tonight and will see how the car acts without a huge intake leak. I installed a set of 560cc injectors to help with the initial setting everything up they should be easy to deal with being that the factory ecu wants 440's so they are not that much bigger. I am hoping to be able to drive it thru the neighbor hood tonight to test some things we will see. I got the manifold welded all looks great yesterday I machined the surface so I wont break it again. In total I took off .118" witch sounds worse than it is the flange is still .450" thick so I have plenty of material to mount it still. Here are the pics and I am hoping to have some vids soon.
You can see in these pics the weld was very good and has no porosity so it should be nice and strong.
Checking may work on the surface table at work. Yes it is not perfectly flat but that is only a .0015" gap the surface table is perfectly flat and it is from the way I had to clamp the intake to the mill it will be perfectly fine on the car.

got the manifold on last night and got one chance to try and start it before it started to rain as expected it did not start. I believe I have a grounding issue with one wire I will look into it tonight and see if I can get it figured out. I want to get it running this weekend.

Ok so I have got a lot of work done over the last two days. Got the car running on friday but would not go over 3000 rpm or half throttle without it going full lean and cutting out. After some work I had no real idea what it could be tps, cam/crank sensor, plugs, ignitor, but I had an extra ignitor so I decided to give it a try. Boom problem solved. Car drives almost too good after three years of problems it all seems to be working well. I am hoping to take it out on the road tomorrow with a dealer tag and give it a shake down. I will post some videos. I still need to mount the font flares and finish mounting the front bumper. I need to make some front bumper supports and I am sure there are 100 other small things to do but I will get to that for now here is some car **** for you all.lol I will post the videos when my computer decides to work.

Ok so here is an update. I drove my car last weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had some problems but I am working on them. A few small oil leaks one is valve covers one is oil pan and turbo feed line fitting. I did put it on the dyno witch was a big disappointment but it is ok. The car made 250whp at 6psi of boost. I could only make 6 psi at 6800 rpm. I was trying to figure out why I could not make any more boost and come to find out my waste gate was stuck open. When the car was cool on sunday I had a freind start it up and I had my hand over the gate and it just pumps out exhaust. I am hoping after taking apart the gate and polishing everything up it had some surface rust on it all lubed it up with some all purpose greese that it will make more boost. If not that means the turbine housing is just too big and I will need a different turbo no big deal I will deal with that when the time comes. Good news is car runs great handles well still have no sway bars on it. I need different tires for the front to clear the front flares and I also need upper adjustable control arms to get rid of the hella flush camber I am dealing with it now because I want to drive the car but I want it to have minimal camber when done. Here are some pics and a vid of my dyno. I would also like to add that the dyno numbers are low the tune is super conservative no meth and very little timing next time will be much much better.
For those of you that do not know or never saw the pics from the begining of the thread this is what this car looked like only 3 short years ago.....

Ok small update I rixed my waste gate and the good news is the car stills flies bad news I only get 7 psi max. I belive this is due to the fact that my turbo is just too big. I will be in search of a new turbo in the very very near future. I think I will be going with a BorgWarner s366.
