Depends on where you're storing them. Bedroom closet? Set them in a box to keep off dust, put box on newspaper so they don't stain the floor/carpet.

Garage? Wrap in garbage bags after wiping everything down with well oiled rag. Throw in some dessicant packs if you have them. Anything new, like a cam, keep in the unopened original packaging and it should be fine.

Cover every thing you do not want to rust in WD40 or your favorite spray lube. I have some fogging spray that is intended to be used to spray cylinder walls for long term storage. It sticks great, but is easy to clean off during re-assembly.

Get some small parts bins or trays to keep all the head parts organized if you are taking the head apart.

I usually do at least 0.002" press fit with delrin. The problem is most of the control arm bores are tapered about 0.020" across there length, so it makes it hard to nail down a good od.

Of course they need a sleeve.

Yes they should be greased.

Any auto parts store will have fogging oil. No need to wait.

Don't get ebay rods, you may end up having to do more machining to them then they're worth. Get Manley rods from a reputable source like 949. The 4 sets I've installed haven't had any oil clearance issues when I plasti-gauged them.

Don't forget Wiseco rings. Unless you wanna rebuild it more than John Mann. I think you wanna plan on deleting your oil jets too.

No, they don't. You suck at setting up a drag car. Your wheel hop problem will not be solved by delrin bushings. You were on the bump stops last time, you probably were again this time even with your higher ride height. Get off them, and you'll be fine.

You don't need fogging oil. I've done a dozen engines, none of them have rusted. What are engines filled with? Oil. They won't rust. Just don't have them cleaned and then put the parts away. Get them machined and cleaned when you're ready to reassemble.

Rubber bushings, IRS, PPF, etc. List goes one. I have about 2.5&quot; of travel, and the bumpstops put me right about where the axles are parallel, where its supposed to be.&nbsp;</p><p></p><p>True. But this isn't going to happen overnight, and I plan on trying to powdercoat the block, and other fun stuff.</p><p></p><p>I know they need to be like that. But I was wondering why. The delrin needs something to rotate against that isnt a threaded bolt, or a cam....

The pick up points need to clamp against something to maintain alignment among other important things...
