The morse blades kick ***

Someone ask lars how he is getting along with them
https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...5/#post1208545

I forgot shipping is $10, so its $50 total
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Two-NEW-5-4-...048&rmvSB=true

The same seller has other listings for the same 2 blades but with differnt pitches

You can also get a pair of the carbon steel morse blades for like $25 from the same guy. I recommend the bimentals.

Bimetal is far superior to carbon.

+1 for starrett. I use the 24tpi for 90* of what I cut. the 14-18tpi handles anything thick

Saw got sold out from underneath me! Hope it wasn't Curly (edit: I only mention curly because the seller said Oregon city, not insinuating you would do that)

I had started the trek through traffic and called him only to find out someone else was on the way. Vented and bitched for a bit and then hung up.

**** Craigslist.

Oil/fuel pressure sender: http://m.ebay.com/itm/Pressure-Trans....c100408.m2460

Need to find an AN6 1/8npt T, I like ebay, but this is fuel line so I might try and not catch on fire. I have an unused port on my FPR so that will get the fuel pressure sender. Then I will have gauge on top, sender on the side, feed on the right, return on the bottom.

Saturn oil temp sender. Unless I can find a cheap 0-5v linear temp sender and tell the 2 wire sender's to go **** off.

Both will go in the sandwich plate.

Going to try jasons timing filter circuit to see if it helps at all.

Need to order the EGT amplifier for the tinyiox. Also need to draw up all the ADC circuits I'll need.Mocked up FPR, ABS pump might interfere though. Waiting to find out.

HIDs are installed. Lighting is ****

Picked up a toy for hailey

Got some gnarly stuff in my catch can

Flex fuel too

Only scoring I can find on the cam of the new engine

Ive been kicking *** at work lately so I think I'm going to take a sick day or 2 and knock out some much needed projects.

-Set backlash and reinstall 3rd member, get truck back on the road
-Order everything for the kx80, and figure out lack of spark
-build a **** ton of GPS units and start another group buy
-reorganize garage
-fix some oscilloscopes
-relocate air filter
-pull apart bottom end and box whole engine up.
-measure for exhaust pipe
-make a Christmas list to take advantage of the last few years my parents still want to try and spoil me on Xmas. They haven't given me a dime all year, first time ever, feels good.
-ship the ******* kitty tape (sorry guise)
-ship g's trunk lid.

I hate lists, I need more time.

Also I wish I had the *****/resources/skills to just buy this and go live in a town of 300 people. Too bad it doesn't come with a salaried machinist. New SADFab headquarters?

If I can live in it I'd relocate. I generally hate people.

I'm not seeing anywhere near $180 grand in equipment though, like nowhere near.

I bet you could just move out there and be the competitor, buy all new china equipment instead of their stuff for less than $50k. Make new welding turntables and stuff, easzy peazy when you buy a plasma table.

I wish I could convince someone to lend me $100 grand, that's a shop, heavy cat40 CNC mill, a slant bed at least 16c thru turret lathe, and an automated bandsaw. There wouldn't be much that couldn't be made at that point, with some pretty serious quickness. It's how the first shop I worked for went from dude's garage to 150K+sqft shop with 20+ employees in under a decade. I'd do the same, just **** the employees.

In the meantime I keep lots of shop space in the odd occasion stars align and I might have the opportunity to acquire at least one piece of machinery of my own.

No usable ones. I'll try against a walltonight. My camera sucks.

Or I'll stop by next time I'm in your area.

I think a lot of their asking price in their minds is the existing product and customer base.

NEW GM STYLE 3BAR 3 BAR MAP Sensor For Electromotive Motec Megasquirt With Plug

Too cheap? They're all made in china anyways?

That is dirt cheap. Worth a try at only $14. Won't be loosing much if it doesn't work.

BUTTTTTTT, it would probably suck if the MAP readings are wrong and you blow your motor.

I think you should try it so the rest of the community can learn from your experience!

What is the failure mode of map sensors? I assume I can compare to the built in one. I'll do some more googling.

Also check this out. I was digging around in tuner studio and found boost blending. Normally it can be used by gear but I'm going to do something else.

6 position switch (5 x Rotary Switch Potentiometer 2pole 6POSITION 15pin | eBay)

A resistor network. (Chief Delphi - View Profile: ZZII 527)

This will give me a 0-5V input in 6 steps.

Set this up as a linear sensor in tunerstudio

Set up boost blending. Max boost in table 2, min boost in table 1.

Have 6 levels of boost control!! Wooo

Will also do the same for launch control and traction control.

If it's off, but consistent, you can just calibrate it. What would be dangerous if it were inconsistent or prone to mechanical failure.

I'm mostly worried about failure.
