AFAIK almost every Mazda 2.5 V6 alternator fits 1.8 motors. I have one from a junkyard 626 and its like 80A I think. They have 1 extra groove on the pulley but it fits

Kewl. I got the millenia idea from your thread, ive been reading it all over. I think its a 90amp.

I'll probably buy new. Last alternator i bought was like 90 bucks after core charge and stuff. Which isn't bad when you know its been reconditioned.

Gonna try and get on those advance auto coupons.

I hate racetronix. Look what happened to the seal on this connector. And the heat shrink they provided. This was not e85. Just e10 gasoline

More fun.

90-93 gas tanks are smaller than 94-97. I knew the NB gas tank was bigger but the NA6 fuel pump sits about 2 inches higher than the NA8. So I had to modify my mounting.

I also ordered PTFE heat shrink to hopefully keep it together.

ID is some good stuff, no complaints with the 1300s so the 1000s should be butter.

Yep. And soviet did 450 on em.

I've basically been re-reading @soviet's build thread, and making a shopping list

WTF my racetronics seal did the same thing. IIRC it was supposed to be orange and they sent the wrong one. I forget where I ordered the replacement from.

My pump came with an orange seal. Going to try that out.

But the heat shrink they sent me just disintegrated.

My ballenger stuff disintegrated too. Switching to PTFE heat shrink.

450 sounds about right for gasoline with them, I don't think you'll get that high on E85. Mine are at 60% duty cycle for 340 rwhp.

Allofthepressures. Soviet did 450whp on dynojet with e85. Like 88% DC or something.

Working on my block ventilation plan right now. Ordered some 10AN bungs. Going to do 10AN on the exhaust side. With drilled out passages. And to a catch can. Intake side will go to home depot catch can with PCB valve.

Before the motor goes to get worked on I'm going to drill and tap the whole that Bob used for a block vent. Not sure I'm gonna use it, but I'll cap it and has it as a backup.

Assuming it should be a steel fitting, I need to find my old 10an cap from the last oil drain I did.

VD shows my car makes about 400-420whp with four ID 1000's maxed out, 60 PSI base and 1:1 reference and holding fuel pressure to redline, on E85. But ebay all the things and conservative tune. If he made 450whp @ 88% duty cycle, then in theory at 100% ((450/88)*100 = 511) he could have made 511whp. I don't think anyone makes that kind of power on E85 with ID 1000's, do they?

Idk. You guys can go look up his dyno if you want. He made 458whp (dynojet) on e85, id1000s, 6758.

I might be wrong about duty cycle though.
