No idea. Seems stockish. Cheap coilovers. sub, pull decent. 192k miles on it.

Nice coating of oil over the bottom of the engine, but nothing horrible.

Pan looks to be resealed at some point.

Syncros are iffy, clutch needs bleeding.

Needs tires.

Will be fun.

Nothing will make you appreciate working on a Miata like trying to do the timing belt on an SW20.

Kris' brain will be picked.

Realized the 3sgte is a non interference motor. So no need to do a timing belt till it breaks

Gonna get some ebay $55 front tires. The tread pattern looks just like my cheapo Miata tires and those things have been awesome.

In Miata news dropped stuff off for powder coating yesterday. But going to Seattle for the weekend so nothing else will get done.

Scarriest car I have ever driven was a '91 MR2. My friend got it for free, and it was worth less than that. Most electronics didn't work, shifter umm... Well, it was there, sometimes you got the gear you wanted. The scatriest part was the alignment would change every time you hit a bump. I thi k every bushing and balljoint were toast.

I have always wabted a first gen MR2 though. They are cool cars.

It's going in her name. Saves me $100 a month on insurance.

Prestige plate?

Nice pickup, always wanted one! I like the previous gen too.

We need to start an over/under on how long you can keep it reasonably stock.

Y'all are gonna lose. Hailey is adamant that this isn't another project car. I told her it will stay stock until I get another daily for her.

Current plan is:

New ebay fogs to fill the hole in the bumper.
New ebay tires in front.
New windshield.
Alignment and maybe raise the car.
New fluids
Find the oil leak and fix it if it's easy.
New seats are on the radar. But not buying anything unless they fall in my lap.
Probably a coolant temp gauge with warning buzzer. Just for safety because hailey isn't used to driving a **** car that could overheat.

the joke is instead of it being a mister 2, it's a miz 2.

Haha I love it! But same thing here, used to be a one time fee. Now it's a couple hundred every renewal.

Would be nice to get some good condition stock cloth seats. I hate old leather.

I'll get you in touch with the Russian alignment guy, but best to figure out what you're doing with suspension first so you only have to align once.
