I really like it so far. Its way lighter than I expected (a lot more so than my pyrotech open face) but it does fit tight around the cheeks (I'm fat). I'm hoping the padding compresses a bit. The built in hans anchors are pretty cool, my pyrotech only had holes.

$220 for everything is hard to beat though.

Lets play the what can Aidan break at the track, and bring as a spare. I have a spare cop. All sorts of tools and random bolts.

Anything obvious I should bring lol? Camera to document my pain?

Also, check out what happened to this cobalt with just 2 sessions. It was used, but the edges were not destroyed like that.

It only took a couple laps to affect the braking performance of the cobalts. While they were effected less than the stoptechs they still were noticably different.

I don't remember if you're using any of the NB cam/crank angle sensors? If so, I'd bring spares of those.

A main relay is good to have too.

A couple bottles of brake fluid, an 8mm wrench, and a hose that fits the bleeder screws. A spare set of pads isn't a bad idea, either.

Stock 1.6 sensors. Main relay is a good one. Don't have one of those. I'll add it to the list. I'll hit up Napa tomorrow. I have brand new in box dtc-60 and Napa organic pads. So worst comes to worst I can get home on those.

In addition to Ians list I usually lug around a spare front rotor and hub, and the tools to replace them. A couple gallon bottles of distilled water also can't hurt.

Yep. I have water. Hmmm, hubs. Never replaced those yet. Ebay? Napa?

Yeah, if you're gonna have to drive the car home, a spare front hub is a good choice. That said, there are probably enough Spec Miata racers at a Trackmasters event that you can wander around the paddock and find someone who will sell you spares if you bring cash.

I wouldn't bring much distilled water if I were driving there, because space is limited and you can get it in town. I would bring lots of drinking water, however. It's going to be beastly hot, and heat exhaustion can be sneaky.

A spare coil pack, perhaps.

I'm down. Let me know if you need help with assembly. I'll bring my soldering stuff and we can hammer these out.

If you want to win HPDEs you definitely need to show up in a driver suit- preferably a Ferari suit.
