Is it a problem if you don't bench bleed? I put everything on my car totally dry and then just filled the reservoir and went to town. Didn't take long to get pressure and bleed all the air out, and these lines and all 4 calipers were totally empty, and it was a new master cylinder unit.

Getting the air out is getting the air out.

Why the 4x4 ride height, Aidan?

Need more travel. Its actually the 949 recommended ride height.

Some people say that you can still get air trapped if you don't bench bleed. I'm on the fence about it.

Gotcha. Might just look weird to me because NA. I'm running 949 alignment on mine and it looks slammed compared to yours.

The 225's are going to be tight. Some sledgehammer may be involved.

Either my torque wrench is broken, or something else happened. Its been feeling not happy the last few times I changed pads and this time it just gave out.

Tee-hee.

When this first happened I got really upset because I thought I ruined the brackets you had given me.

But they I realized I just ruined the caliper and only screwed myself over.

I've had that same one for decades. Mine is so old it's that puke green that they painted everything. No torque, but it gets the job done.

Oil the bearings. Mine were as dry as a popcorn fart when I bought it.

I didn't take anything apart, I just squirted some plain old multipurpose oil at the dust shields, and let it soak in a little. Hasn't failed me in at least 20 years, so I haven't been too concerned about it.
