Is one of those rods shorter than the other?

AL welds are looking good dude, catch can is well done.

lol @ the rods.. Would it be wrong to assume the rods with a bigger profile are actually the eBay ones? Figure they want to at least try and compensate for possible Q/C slips.

You are correct. Eby is beefier.

I would love to use my lab's profilometer on the bearing surfaces of each of those.

I always thought ebay rods were rebranded eagle. Now I'm not sure.

They are all made in various chinese foundries. Prob to slightly different specs and differing QC acceptance criteria. On Alibaba you can find a few chinese sellers that sell them for $20-30/rod with a 20+ rod min (Order of turbo kitten rods?). IMO the moral of the story is, the super cheap ones are probably beefier than they need to be because of lower amounts of engineering going in to it, thus they are probably heavier then they need to be. Eagle/Manley/Name Brand Here either did a little FEA, or just dumb luck have a supplier with less material, and have lighter rods because they know that's all that required for the application.

EFR outlet flange: should I run the full race one? Treadstone? I found an old thread where @Savington said that he sold better clamps and flanges but I don't see them anymore.

Lol. I like how the utag function essentially invalidates his "No PMs" policy

Lol. I still email him if I have a real question. This is more of a "hey I'm talking about something you might know about, no answer required though."

I read his questions and then wait to answer them out of spite

I use Treadstone inlet clamps. Way nicer than the stuff BW uses IMO. $31/ea+ship from me.

I ordered a full race one. Couldn't find any other information about them, figure I'll be able to make it work.

I had similar 1/2 NPT aluminum bungs welded into my valve cover to use in place of the small stock breather ports to allow larger hoses so the airflow could slow down and carry less oil to the catch can. Run-on sentences.

That is my plan. I have some 10AN bungs, and 10AN lines that will be run from both the valve cover and a block vent, similar to @bbundy's setup.

Got some more T5 work done. New input shaft showed up, still need to order new input and output seals. The input shaft swap was stupid easy.

I want this tranny swap to succeed so bad. Then I want SADfab to make into a kit so I can buy it and change my plans to ALLOFIT.

SADFab will not be offering a kit.

1.) we have no desire to produce something like that.
2.) Andrew at Track Speed Engineering is working on a kit and has graciously shared information with me and the public. Either use his helpful information to build your own. Or even better buy one from him. I can provide a phone number if needed too
