<p>We recently did the reroute and tried burping it as well as we could. Was 50/50, slowly turned into more and more water as the day went on.</p>

I think OEM radiators clog and loose a lot of their heat transfer capability, I went through two used OEM ones before upgrading to a new one and I haven't had problems since.

I believe the auto tranny one is the one you want as far as OEM cores go. Its supposed to be more capable as to handle the additional heat from the trans.

Has anyone checked on that lately though? OEM auto tranny cars are supposed to be dual core, but my radiator wasn't a dual core and it still had tank nipples. I wouldn't be surprised if those were cheaped out on at some point.

<p>Its looking like my next track day will be thunderhill double header in July. This gives me some time to figure a couple things out. Current to-do list.<br /><br /><br /><br />1. Pull manifold, relief cuts, and surface.<br /><br />2. Brakes. Start with pulling the pads. If they are tapered buy cobalt pads. If they aren't try bleeding the system. If that doesn't work replace master.<br /><br />3. Ducting. Need to seal my bottom ducting and build side ducting. Otherwise I'm happy with my cooling so far.<br /><br />4. Rebuild rear axles, find spare ABS 2 piece axle. And lots of axle nuts.<br /><br />5. Make GoPro not suck.<br /><br />6. Install new front coilover sleeves and get an alignment with 949 half and half alignment.<br /><br />7. Install adjustable endlinks up front.</p><p>8. Support Muffler<br /><br />9. Drive the **** out of it.</p>

Same buddies car, front main is leaking pretty bad, if we get all they way down there should we do water pump and everything? I've never done that yet.

If I'm it there, I do it all. I like Gates water pumps. Cast impeller and the back surfaces are machined correctly so the belt doesn't walk off to one side.

Edit: The timing belt doesn't walk off to one side. Never had a problem with the water pump/ alt belt even with improperly machined pumps.
