Got pretty much everything buttoned up. I need to get different water bolts for the turbo. Ones I used were just in our extra bolts drawer. They leak a little bit. Need to make some type of support bracket for the hotside IC piping because it's slightly hitting one of the belts. Also need to install the injectors sometime this weekend. I drove it around the block & it actually drove great! But the idle sucks *****. Fluctuates a bit then dies. AFR were reading 10.5 to 14ish while driving it around. Didn't boost it at all but it sounds badass. Definitely needs LOTS of fine tuning still. But I'm happy! For now.

Picked up a daily for $1800 to replace the RX7. It's even a manual!

I'm gonna miss my FC. But it'll help me with the down payment on a house soon.

I'm having some trouble getting the to idle as well as getting the car dialed in as far as fine tuning goes. It starts no problem but slowly dies shortly after. With the throttle, I can keep it running.

Anybody? I put some 93 oct in & that helped it with the sputtering it had when cruising. I did some more autotuning but that's it. Still pretty un-educated with tunerstudio. My AFR are around 11 when in slight boost & 13-14 when cruising.

I ended up just restoring back to the original first tune it had when I installed the Megasquirt. Basically just starting all over. This helped the car A LOT. Timing was spot on again along with my AFR & idle. Drove it around town a bit & it ran great. But I'm having some overheating problems. Something with the turbo fittings or possibly the oil drain isn't working as it should. After driving, the top of the turbo will show just a slight amount of oil by the top fitting. Same goes with the two coolant fittings. I replaced all 3 of these & it was still doing it. I think my drain line is too flat near the bottom. I'll try to get a picture

I learned pretty fast that average quality fittings never pay off. It almost always pays to get the better more expensive ones. They do add up fast though....

Hated the dual tips so I picked up a cheap eBay axleback. Also fabbed up an intake. The car kept overheating after a while of driving & I figured it was because the radiator wasn't getting enough airflow which probably doesn't help. Well, my fans are not turning on at all. I must have messed up a wire or something. Car is fun though! 8 psi of boost is plenty enough.

Still need to install my damn injectors!! I did get my wideband wired in finally. So I've gotten a lot better at this tuning. Adjusting tables & autotuning. The car runs & drives really well now. But I need some help. When I start the car, it turns over but dies right away. Hot & cold starts. So I have to give it a bit of throttle when I start it then even it out until it idles. What do I need to adjust?
