Being a College student, money tends to be lacking. This thread will be used to show the slow but progressive build of my '02 Miata, and will also be used to document and record my progress for myself.

My first car was beginning to break down back in July 2013 and I decided it was time for a new car. Looked around and eventually found a 2002 Miata SE with 48,000 miles. This car has been amazing. My main goal was to clean it up the car as much as possible and modify it to have the most functionality on a budget as possible.

Goals
-Improve suspension and stiffness of the car
-Turbocharge the car, looking for around 220whp
-Clean up the body of the car (faded paint on spoiler, fix rear bumper, possibly GV Lip or AutoExe Bumper)


This car is going to be used for mostly street/autox and eventually will be used on the track once free time comes around.


So far I have,
-Removed visibility impairing tint
-Cleaned the headlights
-Nitto NeoGen's (205/50/15) with 15x8 Konig Flatouts
-New Brake Pads and Rotors

No tint, its clear! -
