Serious question, say your driving your Miata and a guy/girl wants to give you a hand job from the passenger seat. How do you gain access while sitting in skinny jeans?

I like the pictures of you "best friend". In my state we would just call him your husband because I live in a liberated state.

Being 26 myself please don't identify/group me with my "generation"...

@Jeff - I don't think you are in any way comparable with "his generation"...

"your generation"

"his (de)generation"

Touché.... Oh god those cuts, my 6 year old nephew would have done better. Didn't anyone ever teach "measure thrice, check twice, cut once"?

I cut it 3 times and it still too short.

I haven't installed my bar yet, but wouldn't a better solution be to start with a hole saw to make the pretty curved portion and then come in with a wheel or other cutting impliment for the straights?

He has a megasquirt so while some of his fab skills are suspect, he might just be salvagable.

I came to write the same exact words. Thank you.

To the OP; I can appreciate the enthusiasm to mod your ride but slow down and do a good job.

My head now hurts after looking through this "build" sheesh. OP we know you're young and on a budget but take a look at Jeffbucc's build thread for some pointers on how to actually do things correctly.

This is exactly what I felt like writing after looking at some of this stuff. Even worse, they have a shop and didn't do this in a garage.

I don't think you have enough sticker horsepower and enough **** in your car.

Take some time and pride in your work. Just because the car is cheap, doesn't mean everything you have to ******* hack everything.

Good job on the ecu.
