lol, Canada...you'd be worse off here doing that.

Awesome video. Were you brake boosting at 0:52 and lock the wheel?

Haha, I saw that too. Watched that part a few times, looks like front wheel locked for sure. Cool video though, gotta love pissing off people with much more expensive cars.

I've done similar with an s2k, although not on as great of a scale. My car was making maybe 180-200whp, the s2k maybe around the same? Weight difference had me put bus lengths on him. Damn rich kid made more excuses than i've ever heard after a race.

Love these vids. And the sense of accomplishment from having personally built the engine you race with must be incredible. Nice work

Ordered the Konig Flatout wheels in Bronze. I only ordered bronze because they were the first wheels that Goodwin would have back in stock.

The wheels: 15x8 +25

I'll likely be painting them this color:

This was another option- Co workers nails...

Snapped a couple of decent ones this week. Hit the drag strip too. Didn't run any better of a time but I trapped 118MPH. Not bad - Need TIRES!

Big news- Last night we were doing a photo shoot and a GTR Spec V rolled by with a Lingenfelter CTS-V Coupe...

Needless to say, we dropped everything to chase them down. My buddies jumped into the BMW X5 to video me trying to run the two "supercars" for lack of better words.

We catch them and I was unaware that the CTS was the Lingenfelter version so I didn't even want to bother with it (I thought I knew the results already). I get next to the GTR and with no surprise he didn't take me seriously. Didn't hurt my feelings.. It's a Miata.

So the CTS-V wanted some pretty bad- we line it up at a 40 roll and I maybe pull a car on him but it was obvious what happened (the dudes reaction was priceless). He yelled out the window "What the hell is in that thing? I make 700WHP".

I think that caught the attention of the guy in the GTR so he gets up next to me and we do a quick pull. To my surprise it looked like I was moving out on him. So we line it up again at a higher speed - Maybe 50-55? We take off and it looked like it was about door to door and I shut down at the end of my gear.

My buddies in the X5 were able to shoot video of the whole thing so I'll post it when it's up but I was happy with the turnout for sure.

These pics are just a couple I snapped with my iPhone at the photo shoot:

Awesome thread, keep it up!!

You're running 3.636 gears right? Did you get any seat time on the 3.909 at 300+whp? If so any thoughts... I take it you like the 3.6 gearing?

Turn up the boost. So far I've tuned three 400+whp Miatas and it is just amazing how they kick huge *** on anything that is 100-300hp more.
