So.. what was wrong with the motor you had? Where did you get that motor from in the first place, and how much did you pay for it?
Good luck man, sorry to hear that. I know how much of a pain in the *** that can be.

Yes sir! Hoping to be on the dyno by the end of the month!
I bought the motor from a salvage yard down in Florida, they guaranteed it to be a 32K mile good motor. Well we went to start it and nothing.... Checked and low compression!
I wanted a built motor in all reality and now one is on its way!

I want to get it on track yet but i don't think that will happen, but we will see.
I need to make the front and rear sway bars yet as well.

Well, was hoping to have the car back on track a few weeks ago. However the previous shop that did the work cut a lot of corners on the car, don't want to get into much detail but the car is completely stripped down to the tub at a new shop getting the full treatment.
The angle that the steering rack was at was very extreme due to having to push it forward because of the F20, so we are cutting the firewall and pushing the motor back so the steering rack can be straight again. The car is also getting a fully tubular front subframe, pin on front bumper core, v-mount, new cage, new exhaust, modifying the suspension arms to make adjusting for caster camber easier, and a whole lot of new toys.
Drop spindles, Fortune Auto 510's which I will be sending back eventually to become double adjustables, new aluminum 8.8 with T2 Torsen, fuel cell, new Canton pan, Accusump, and lots of updates to come in the next weeks.
New fuel system will have a swirl pot setup with a Bosch 044 and new AEM E85 pump. Still on the fence but think i will run e85 rather than 110.
New Front and rear drop spindles!
Fortune Auto 510's
Pallet of new Hoosiers
Some turbo ****
And the car!
The day he got it, sold the old shock package!
And how the car sits now!
