Run a TKO500 or 600, my bad. 500 is capable of holding 500 ft pound and the 600 is rated at.... 600.

Not sure if the T5 runs the same bellhousing pattern as the TKO units.

if i put down 400 i have some seirous fukkn problem. That just should not happen.

Anyways. Seriously, WTF should I do about this trans bs? Should I just get a $700 six speed and try again???? I have zero quality fabrication skills and corky did not respond to me. I am also leery of a BEGI "solution".

f* that noise. if you wait for begi on anything don't expect your car to be done before 2017.

if you're really making over 500 and flat shift that ish you'll probably pop the next 6sp too. go queef or some other dog box.

or give enough sexual favors to one of our lovely mad fabricators (tim? abe? etc?) to make you an adapter plate.

---- it, just connect the driveshaft to the clutch directly. This thing should be powerful enough to not need gears.

The Rx7 trans isn't all that strong to began with anyway.

reason I'd use a t5 over a t2 is because 100000000000000x rednecks use the t5 at insane power and torque levels and run single digits on them as well as rebuilt them in 30 minutes with like 200 dollars.
t5>t2

Yup. Plus they're fully customizable. It's why all the Volvos guys run 'em. Or the Getrag 265

Uh, wut? The N/A 5-speed for the FC has been known to hold ~350rwhp reliably. The turbo 5-speed's actual power limit is someridiculousnumberthatIdon'tknowoffthetopofmyhea d.
