Is that really neccisary. Wouldn't a nice stainless tubular desing net you more flow for a lot less money?

Are you serious? A titanium manifold?

^ I hope not if he wants to actually drive it. Inconel is a better choice and would be lighter since you can get away with thinner tubing. Either will cost a fortune though.

That manifold/exhaust is for a rear engined K-series swapped vintage Mini.

Right, I'm kidding, it's for the above mini. I just thought that fabrication project was pretty darn cool. If my motor doesn't blow up at 30psi I hopefully will be going ARTech later this year.

That sounds more like it and that mini looks sick.

I've now taken my downpipe on and off 3 times this week in the quest to put on the incolnel studs. The damn slip joint unslipped twice, once with the bolt disappearing, once with it un-double-nutting. I have the type with the two little rings on the side to slide a long thin bolt in and connect the pipes together. Something kinda like this:

Anyways I am trying a little experiment. I used some metal "zip" ties to connect the pipes. Three of them. I went for a nice drive today and they held. I fucked with them a bit first by putting my weight on them and they held so I think they're pretty strong. We'll see if they can take the heat and vibration and friction. Hopefully someone will not tell me I am making a noob ricer mistake. :|

They look like this:

Launch control is working, and so is my diff- I left two black stripes in my parking garage. I spent a while today trying to get traction control working but it would not kick in. Finally, I realized that it is a switched feature in the hydra, meaning you have to tell the hydra to expect ground or voltage on one of the input pins. Unfortunately, I figured that out at the end of my trip, in the parking garage. One of the other switched inputs in the hydra is Valet mode which I might map to the now-useless A/C switch.

I set up the traction control to do spark cut to um, exit dramatically. If it works, I'll set up flat shift to call out the swarms of vettes, M3s, and my old nemeses, the priuses that flock around Howard county.

No way you are making enough power to take down the almighty prius!

Got the traction control working. It actually ******* works. Where I had to only go part throttle before, I can now drive it like it's NA. WOT 100% of the time. Unfortunately, I AM NOT GETTING FIREBALLS. I WANT FIREBALLS AND FLAMES AND **** COMING OUT OF MY EXHAUST. Occasionally I do, but not continually like I hoped for.

FWIW the setting I ended up with were 20% spark cut and around 8% fuel cut. Flat shift config was a failiure because it was engaging during normal driving. I guess I should wire it to the clutch switch.

Here's a shitty video. Do I post any good videos? I would like a cheapass rollbar mount camera so I can take something better. Recommendations?

Not familiar with how tc works on a hydra, but does it read speed sensor and abs sensors and then determine if there's a discrepancy?
