FYI

Sound Performance now makes a "track" quick spool valve with a thicker shaft and a more secure flapper mounting. $60 more so I am going to send mine in to exchange it. Thumbs up to Sound Performance for not forcing me to buy a different QSV.

I went to a car meet last night and washed my car beforehand at some pay and spray car wash. As I was pulling out of the bay, it started to thunderstorm. Then it started to hail. Then, as I was driving down the highway at 45/50mph my MT DRs ******* lost it and the *** swung around. I went full lock right, then it swung around again and went full lock left and huzzah it straightened out. I pulled over and drove 20mph in the emergency lane the rest of the way there... I thought it was all over but drifting skills saved the day.

11.75s are actually not in the mail. I sent an email to Savington to see if they are backordered.

Calipers were a bit delayed, we typically have a couple of sets in stock but you ordered RIGHT after we moved 2 sets in a day. It's in the mail as of yesterday, you've got a tracking number via email. Sorry about that.

You got really lucky.
Same thing happened to me in the winter when it rained for the 1st time. Driving on a bridge I start fishtailing, do a 180 and start sliding backwards. Finally skid to a stop about 6" away from the curb/rail/drop.
Sitting there facing oncoming traffic and shitting bricks, a highway patrol pulls up to me, shakes his head, facepalms, and drives away.

Drove 20mph all the way home too lulz

I don't know if my phone can take worse pictures. My new wheels and RS3s are on and look ******* AWESOME. I've wanted these for years and they are so choice. I have quite a bit of wheel gap in the rear which will at some point be remedied with by swapping the KYB AGX for XIDA club sports. I am super happy with the wheels. I'll take better pics later with GF's iphone.

Oh um BTW the reason why it happened was determined when I pulled my wheels. The MTs had like a 1/4" of tread and were well into the wear bars. I guess it's bad to put 2000 commuting miles on drag radials lols. Whatever, they're ready for more power...
