I up shift to increase my rpms, right? Up shifting adds 100ft/lbs of torque? I'll only need 7 gears

Why not contact Abe and buy a cheap log setup w/ a downpipe? I'm pretty sure his prices would be comparable to a simliar FM setup. As much as everyone has a super hard on for the EFR, if you're starting from scratch and don't have the cash, get a *gasp* churbo.

Once money rolls in, you can then upgrade to a real Garrett and not buy another manifold/downpipe. No, you won't be any closer to an EFR setup, but you will have the flexibility of the standard T2 flange setup.

Abe is months behind, never emailed me back about my EFR setup. It's either EFR or a GT with v-band. Don't want a T2 flange in the long run considering I want to push near 500whp when it's all done with, should be able to do that with the EFR/GT series.

As I recall, you do not track the car, so I think you can easily start with a cheaper setup and enjoy it on the street.

On the other hand, if this car is your only (primary) means of transportation, you need to prioritize: job #1, project car #2.

I have a truck I use to daily drive, so I have 2 vehicles, also we have the "fishing" truck which was only used for racing transportation and now used to go fishing. So technically I have 3 vehicles lol

Then I support a "bridge turbo" solution in which you get something on there in the interim while you focus on school, then you can upgrade.

You need not let perfect be the enemy of good.

I just cant break the bank. It will have to be a cheap setup, with a small t25 or something to that size/price

My new MS3 is huge, much bigger than the stock ECU. Unfortunately I am having trouble mounting it where the stock ECU sits, so I will have to come up with something else. Anyone have a MS3 from Dimitris for a 99/00?

Yepp here, I also was a bit surprised how big it was...
I have it mounted where the Euro 99-00 have there ECU - at the Co-drivers footwell. The huge DB37 is giving me some headaches... I can't fit the OEM protection cover for the ECU.

There's no where I can route it that far, i'd need a extra long harness.

Can anyone tell me what I am looking at? Got an email and I don't know what manifold/turbo this is. The wastegate is mounted on bottom? And looks like you can mount a wastegate to the wastegate? Why am I lost?

You can't share photos that way. You need to host them on imgur or imageshack. Did you link that from an email on gmail lol?

Looks like some ghetto homebrew manifold with a super old turbo
I would not run that on your car

Looks like a DIY manifold, or JGS.

Chinacharger T3 turbo; probably the same I'm running.

Ebay Tial knockoff wastegate.
