You know the company's name is Greddy, right? Not G-reddy?

Curious why you're running a Walbro with an MS. Are you running the stock fuel injectors and upping the fuel pressure?

Injectors are 315cc, planning on changing to 600-800cc injectors + ethanol fuel (e85).

but it's not holding all the way to redline. Search "helper spring".

Don't take this the wrong way: that is absolutely pointless with your current turbo/setup.

For the boost drop you are seeing, try sourcing the wastegate boost signal AFTER the intercooler. That fixed my issue 100% and it now holds strong to redline.

I could try that, thanks.

Planning on running e85, because it's much cheaper here in finland + i think i could get more than 300nm torque. The duty cycle of current injectors are 90-95%.

The cage is ordered from t.r. lane : http://www.trlane.co.uk/

I'd think it fits with the hardtop, but you can ask from Tim Lane.

Sweet new pics, setup looks great. Do you have a more complete engine bay picture that includes the catch can?

The cage looks nice. I have a Hard Dog M2 (I think, it was on it when I bought the car) and I really like the aggressive look it gives the car.

Doubly so with the cage. I may have to upgrade at some point.

I broke the 5-speed transmission, so I'm thinking of upgrading the engine to 1.8l from 2001, with the 6-speed transmission.

Don't think i will need other parts than motor mounts and the intake manifold? Thinking of doing the exhaust manifold myself, and the throttle body adapter.

How about the drive shaft, will the current one do?

You shouldn't need motor mounts they are the same afaik, of course the turbo set up wont work, and IIRC with MS you should not need the TB adapter either. I could be wrong though.

However if its a 2001 motor, IIRC that has VVT. You need to either figure out a way to control that, or get a 1999-2000 head for the swap.

Someone else might have more info though. Why not just drop in another 100 dollar transmission?

Car looks nice though, how is that cage with headroom?

Because here in finland they don't cost 100$, more like 400-500euros. And i could get the engine + 6-speed for 1100 euros.

The seats are bolted to the floor directly, so they sit low. No problems with the headroom yet (me = 193cm).

Damn!. I'd definitely look into upgrading the motor and trans in that case. It sounds like your 5 speeds are more overpriced than your 6 speeds there.

Drove the car in my garage at november and swapped the engine, gearbox and rear end.

The engine is now an -02 vvt, gearbox is 6-speed and the rear is an 3.63 ratio torsen.

Got new wheels, rota's (wanted 6ul:s but got these cheap...)

The only part I'm waiting is an greddy axial replacement turbo manifold from abe... After that I can go for a test drive
