Cool! I'll let Marcus know. If we get a couple more we'll switch reservations to a cabin, but as of right now we can just flip a coin for the floor each night or something.
I think we'll leave early Wednesday, i'm going to need a 1-2 hour break halfway through the drive out there in this damn thing. Marcus is coming in Thursday night, i'm taking his spot in the dyno meet.

Got a ricer trunk.

Put the car up on a lift to do a bolt check and look at a few things. Getting some accelerated wear on the inside of the rear tires, but it's not super crazy i don't think. Too much rear camber in rear, but the toe was square so not sure what's going on there. Exhaust is hitting the diff, not entirely sure what to do here. The whole thing needs to be shifted over about an inch, rear section is definitely maligned, which is also why it's melting my bumper. Bumper i don't care about. Exhaust hitting diff is annoying and embarrassing. Need to try poly mounts and maybe find a way to bend the stock hangers?

Installed delrin window guides.

And MiataRoadster vented sail windows. People complain about this being a hard job... we knocked out the window guides and both vent windows in about 40 minutes. Not sure what the fuss is about.

Installed ricer trunk. Fitment is terribad, and the stock trunk only weighed 15lbs. Ricer trunk weighs 11lbs. Think i'm going to gut the ricer trunk, remove the arms/hinges, and just pin the thing to the car.

Possibru for a temp sender itself to become flaky?
I was suspect of my wiring job since i needed to extend that pigtail to work with the reroute spacer, but i checked it yesterday and we're all good. Connector is solid and attached properly, and my extenze job is solid.
Symptom: Temp gauge works most of the time in the morning, right up until the first time i romp on the gas. At that point, my boner deflates, sad panda, and my temp gauge sits the rest of the trip on dead cold.
Being that this is an NB and everything relating to temperature is on that sender, i'm guessing at this point, my gauge goes to zero, the car stays in warm up mode, and my fan will never kick on. Fair assumption?
What i'm getting at is that i'm cheap and the thought of spending $15 to not fix an issue sets my teeth on edge.
What think we? Has The World's Fastest Sybian™ vibrated a sender into oblivion?

I suppose. That would be something i would do if it was available locally closer than 15 minutes away. What would really happen would be that i would buy it from Amazon for the same price and not have to drive somewhere. Then replace it.
Then the problem continues to happen.
And i can't be bothered to send it back.

What he said. If the ground is flaky to the point that it doesn't work at all sometimes, and i've already checked my wiring, then either the sensor itself is messed up internally or.... maybe i'm vibrating spacer bolts loose? Scary thought. Haven't checked that yet.
Will investigate further when the car cools down tonite. Thanks!

I..... really don't remember. I'll see if i still have my housing. If it does, there's a good chance i didn't do anything with that ground and now it's just hanging out and bouncing off things.

You look less alike than I imagined, but are otherwise similar in your penchant for ugly things that are awesome.
Please write more things about your car.
