I got a set of 93LE BBS 14s for free last weekend. I thought that was pretty close to the going price for most OEM wheels?

No, in my experience the stock wheels that people actually like will go for lots. It can take a little bit of research but wheels are one of those things that somebody, somewhere, may really want what you have.

The tough part is recognizing when the something that you don't like is something that someone else actually does like.

Aside from being heavy - I think the 16" wheels on the NBs look pretty good. It's a shame the choices for rubber in that size are so modest.

We can both list for $500 and refuse to drop price to undercut the other? We both make $500, we both profit!

Call it price fixing.

Hmm, maybe I should actually sell the wheels off my 10ae instead of just using them for winter beaters

I got like $300 for mine, great shape with tires in 2011. As always YMMV.

Polished 15's and the 95M, BBS 15's command a better price than most.
BBS 14's, not so much; nor painted NB 15's.

I'm about to trade my set of OEM painted 15" five spokes (Sport wheels?) for a pristine black 1.6 dash/tombstone/glovebox/cluster hood.

Win win for everyone involved.
