Just go full 3" and run an ALLOFIT muffler on the thing. You can fit a pretty huge one back there and from clips i've seen it rivals a stock exhaust system in sound output.

Alright finally some updates on a more positive note:

The AC issue is looking like its fixed
The AIT issue seems to be fixed too now
VE map is roughly dialed in, need to start fine tuning it (planning to this weekend)
Car is definitely quicker than it was before now that its not pig rich and retarded timing

So overall about 10% tuned but running 100% better than a few days ago.

I'm pretty n00bish with MS3x. Lots of options/features are new to me and I feel stupid. Luckily Scott is edumacating me and helping out

And a crappy cell phone pic of what it looks like right now hehe

I actually have a 3" giant Magnaflow 12579 or whatever it is. Not enough time to fabricate the "S" connection to the midpipe and hangers for it though.

Also I have an Enthuza full 3" exhaust sitting here but I think that will be too loud with the sc since its a really small cannister.

I'll figure out what I wanna do in the future. Right now I just want the tune 100%

Looks good, I want a ride in it to feel what low end torque is. Is that the valve cover I did?

Thanks guys.
No, that one is going on the built engine.

Actually I don't think you're gonna get a ride in this setup because,

I'm taking it off next week

That's right, as if this thread wasn't entertaining enough, this just in: I am not happy with 200hp. At all. I thought I would be. But I'm not. I kept telling myself that I'll be fine and this is only temporary, but I'm not fine and this is just gonna make me procrastinate my engine build.

So its coming out and will be for sale soon. Its peppy. Imagine a stock miata powerband plus about 40 more hp/torque but keeping the stock power/torque curves.

That's what this is like. Its fun, but after my previous 307whp miata, and 380whp forester, and current 350hp vette, I just get no enjoyment out of this little power.

So yeah.

car going back to n/a but keeping the MS and ID1000's on there and keeping it on e85, and going to REALLY focus on finishing the spare motor and putting on the turbo setup.

I need a minimum of 300whp in my life. Not 200

I fixed that for you, so all the units of measure were the same.

supercharger fail, lol. At least get a 3rd/4th gear pull log so we can run it through the virtual dyno.

Hmm, actually that's not a bad idea.

I will do that tomorrow if I don't forget. I have logs but none specifically for VirtualDyno.

The supercharger, bigger injectors, MS3x and E85 was only good for 200hp in this thing?! Lame.

Now hurry up so you can build my motor lol

I think not using any type of charge cooling was the biggest reason It was completely tapped out. The AIT's were through the roof: 160-170 at cruise, and like 200-220 in boost. Even with e85 you just aren't going to make much power with the air being that hot. I considered hooking up the extra injectors and actually using this setup like it was designed to be used, BUT that would mean more work and time spent on it, and I really don't care to do that.

Its whatever. Failed experiment if you will. The more time/effort I would have spent on it the more I would have put off finishing my turbo setup, and I'm not about to do that.
