Welp, that looks really cool, but I guess my MS3/firmware or whatever doesn't even have that drop down at all.

:(

But thanks for the link to that guide, for whatever reason I've never even seen it before. Looks really really cool and I bet I'll learn a metric ton when I read it all. This will be my spare time reading material now
the bane of MS, documentation is poor / doesn't match whatever firmware is flavour of the month.

Those docs are the 'new' docs that the devs are writing. They're better than what came before, but still lacking in information sadly.

Yeah, that's MS for ya lol.

Ok, so let's assume that my wires/pins/loom is bad and I want to replace it all. Anyone have any ideas on where I get it? I think leafy had a connector thread, I guess I'll go check it out. Also I think I'm going to need some wire sleeves/loom, and some self fusing silicone tape.

The part I don't know where to get is the pins for inside the connector.

If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do this right.

The connector witch hunter thread has info on where to get the VVT connector and the pins that go in it.

Dammit! I get stuck working out of the office for a couple days and I miss all the drama? I still have no idea what happened.

There is no drama.

Scott threw a fit cause I called out Corky for all the stupid bs they do and all the crap they pull. Scott agree's with me because on several occasions we talked about it and him and me are 100% in agreement about how mismanaged and terribly run Begi is.

And yet publicly he defends them like crazy, and anyone saying anything negative is silenced and posts are deleted. I made a couple jokes about that, you can see my comment (what's left of it in another persons quote, since he actually edited my post(s) and deleted all my comments). He got really mad at the jokes apparently, and banned me with posted reason "ask and you shall receive".

I have a lower opinion of people/things/etc now (not that it matters) and will likely cut down my posting on this site to a bare minimum. Too many people getting too butthurt too often.

I'm assuming its ok for me to post this up here in my very own thread, but if it's not and I get banned again, most you guys have my number and email and know me in real life so you know how to contact me. If I get banned again for this kind of stupidity I'l likely never return to this site except for when I part out and sell my miata. (again, not that it matters, just saying to those that want to know).

That is all.
PS: I'm really not mad or upset, at Scott or anyone else. I just realized I cared too much, and I need to stop caring. Apparently it bother people to no end when I stick up for people and/or this site. I guess we should all just luagh and joke about people getting screwed over by companies, and let the n00bs run rampant and crap up our forum or turn it into club roadster. Apparently my care is interpreted as bad taste and troublemaking. Whatever, I'll shut up now lol

When you go out of your way to bash a sponsor, constantly, (see my user title) I have to do something. If I didn't, other mods were about to do that same.

If you were about to air your grievances without attacking, or harassing, or going out of the way, in appropriate places, I wouldn't give a flying fart.

see: tactful - Dictionary Definition : Vocabulary.com

so yeah, dont pull an idrA.

I am going to have to agree with Brain. Vlad, you have the tendency to take it way overboard and escalate it far beyond where it needs to go to be helpful. You name call, use offensive language, and just generally fly off the handle consistently. You do this to noobs too. MT.net is notorious for not sugar coating things and shaming noobs but you often take it overboard quickly. It reminds me of customers I use to serve when I worked retail that would just harass and berate employees for simple mistakes because they could.

For me, it's like this. If the ban had been permanent, I think I would not have liked it. As it was, it made a point, and, personally, I think it a humorous approach.

Vlad, I think Ryan posts good advice, but I would also add that I think you are a big asset to this forum.

See the humor in the, "Ask and you shall receive", learn when to stop beating a dead horse, and let's have fun again, building, driving, and (boy I hope not), blowing up Miatas.

Vlad, I think you need to grow out your mustache more. I was very disappointed after the last mustache ride, the tickle was just not there enough with how small it was.

So... Have you had any luck yet with your hot restarts not being smooth and silky like butter?

I've decided to try out another line in the ASE/etc tables at 190 degrees to see if that helps. Because, like you, I know that it's not related to the IAT temps...
