Yeah got the 3.6 r/p from Joe.

On a sad note, the ultramegamassivesquirt is still not working after coming back from brain:(

Well, it works but car doesn't wanna start and doesn't get crank or cam signals apparently.

I'm gonna mess around with some dashpot thingies as instructed. Hopefully that helps.

Car is all done and ready to drive. Just need to figure this MS crap out

get out of my thread

I'm not in the mood for your homo trolling right now

Scott - still nothing. Sent logs. Still no crank and/or cam signal.

Really really hope its a simple fix.

I dont know if MS is the same way but i know adaptronic doesnt "require" a cam signal to run. Needs crank signal though.

Yeah its not reading crank.

I'd swap back to stock ecu just to try to crank it over, but that would require removing the freshly installed brand new ID1000's.

I'm tired.

Nope. Didn't even take the original pulley off actually. Just removed the 4 bolts and dropped in the overlay.

I'll start double checking everything tomorrow just in case. I took my time with the install and am pretty sure its spot on though.

You'd have to be Fae to mess up the crank signal fitting a supercharger kit

That said have you scoped the crank signal wires just in case? May have pinched/cut a signal wire.

Yeah the wires from the sensor are fine. So is the plug. I'll look further down in the harness where I removed loom to relocate the tps and iac. I didn't cut or splice anything though, so I don't see how anything could be damaged.

Will take some more composite logs.

lol I gotta figure out how to take a composite log correctly apparently

never had issues like this before don't even know how to do it.

thought I did it right yesterday, but I was exhausted and frustrated, so probably fudged it up lol

In TunerStudio, go to the diagnostics tab, then select composite logger from the drop down menu, lastly ensure the capture to log file check box is ticked - this will direct you to a save location.

Then click start. You should start to see green (cam) blue (crank) and red (sync loss),lines as you crank. If there's no sync loss red is a flatline.

For the mk2 the pattern is 2 crank 1 cam 2 crank 2 cam. 2 crank 1 cam 2 crank 2 cam etc etc.

Once you've recorded whatever appears for 20 seconds or so, click stop and you can view/save the log.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs btw, if you know all this just disregard, hoping to help a bit

Thanks.

Help is always appreciated.

I asked a buddy of mine (who is much better than I at electronics and wiring) to come over tonight and look everything over. I'll also go through everything for the 3rd time. Will also do composite log as described.

The MS is probably just mad at me for bolting a supercharger to the car

That or maybe the car is mad at you for bolting a supercharger to it.

Or maybe the Universe is mad at you for bolting a supercharger to the car, and is now punishing you.

More sadness: tried adjusting dashpots, nothing.
Did a bunch of composite logs: they show no signals at all.

Just for kicks I plugged my stock ecu back in, and it fired right up
Died shortly after due to obvious reasons, but now I know my car is good, and its the Megasquirt/Harness that's refusing to cooperate.

Brain will hopefully have some answers or ideas when he's back from dinner. Its 105* outside, and more like 120* in my garage, I'm not messing with it any more until I hear from him. This is hell.
