So you haven't changed the most common culprit yet...
The cam sensor is just as fragile on the VVTs, just two years younger.

Yeah, I heard about that. That's why I even mentioned it as the 1st thing I suspected when I posted about this issue.

I think I'll probably get a spare and keep it in the car if this one dies or something. Can't risk getting stranded on the way to work

On another note:

What is the going rate of a brand new Garrett GT2560R? I have two turbos, a used sr t25 that I'm rebuilding and a brand new gt2560r. I'm considering throwing on the t25 while on stock internals (because anything else and I'll definitely vent the block), and later when I build the spare engine throw on a 60rs or 71r.

This is kinda the game plan I am considering at this point. I have most of the rest of the turbo setup already.

correct. whats funny about that?

Doesn't even matter though, I don't want to make plans, thats just what I'm thinking of now, it will probably change a billion times in the next year.

The short term goals are a sr20 t25 setup on my current stock engine.

Yes, yes I am. I don't care.

Ideally I wanted to do a EFR setup for my next project, but I just don't care about putting together another seutp, and this one just kinda "fell into my lap". I probably wouldn't have even done anything if this didn't happen. I love driving the car as is even, and my need for speed is satisfied with the brobaru.

*edit: I was just talking to Scott this morning about throwing on the t25 setup on stock clutch and injectors, aka BEGi style, and seeing how fast I'll run out of fuel and/or fry the clutch

My stock clutch on my 94 went out about 6psi on my t25. The injectors were topped out at 7-8psi I think. Those values were also with a shitty street tune on MS1.

LOL.....nope.

I'm actually selling off some of the parts from this setup, and running a simple t25 setup at 200 or 220 or whatever it will make.

Until the spare engine is build, I'm not buying any larger turbos.

I'm going to let him tickle my 6258 once I get it installed with the built motor. That should help with the naughty thoughts

So is 15.8 @ 86 a decent time for a full weight bone stock NB?
