You did know that the Basic MS3 for the 01-05 also fits the MSM, right?

Latest updates on heavy pig: MS start up issues

Vlad's OCD got the best of em, traded it for z ..... /thread

Sweet Z!, the carbon parts make it really stick out. silver/black with blue wheels as the icing on the cake. (still surprised you didn't work your black seats/black doors out of the deal & swap the MSM doors/seats in the white. That'd be a sick combo )

THREAD TITLE CHANGE IS PERFECT

whoever did that, thank you.

For now I'm just gonna do a ton of maint, install the MS, and figure out what I'm gonna do about this white hard top. Really considering plastidipping it black along with the a-pillars, but still not sure. Open to input/suggestions.

Don't really feel like dropping major coin to re-spray it when it was just painted recently and has all new seals including around the window

I have a friend with a 350z, should I get him over with it and figure out how to build you a turbo setup?

I'm not modding the z. At all.

In fact, I'll likely have it back on stock suspension and stock exhaust in the next few weeks because this crazy loud almost straight pipe exhaust and uber-stiff coilovers will get old real fast. Because street car. Its kinda fun aside from that though.

He ran mid 13's @ 106 on it too, so its not exactly a slouch.

Remove 2 jumpers for the VVT, switch one jumper from position 1-2 to position 2-3. Done.

That would have saved you what, 300 bucks?

You're welcome.

So are you keeping the MS for the MSM?

Yeah that's kinda what I have in mind for now.
As for wheels, I still have my FLATOUTs so I'll probably use them.
I'm not ready to update sig just yet

Its ok, I guess I'll try a new flavor of MS.

I have been really happy with all your units so far, and I think once your ENHANCED MS3x is out and available, we will talk yet again, about yet another unit to build me

It sold in like 5 minutes, and I ordered a PNP-Pro a few days ago

Maybe I'm missing something. (probably something really simple haha)
Too bad I waited until now to read this thread. I have this same damn problem with my new MS3x install that never was there with my MS1 for months now. Overrun fuel cut; cuts and then injects fuel and then cuts again.

I noticed it coincided with a spike on the TPS reading, but after tons of testing I determined the TPS was fine and there must be another issue. I have the car the most ripped apart I've ever had it in my ownership and I'm replacing grounds and looking for trouble spots, but maybe there's an issue with the MS3x and the way the TPS is wired up.

Was going to ask you if you could watch your TPS % in TS but....nice Z.

There was never a spike in the tps readings. You can actually look over my logs I posted and see for yourself.

So, exactly how much better is the MSM chassis compared to the NB2's you have been driving around for the last few years?

Can you describe a rainbow to a blind man?
