I realized I want a blasphemous miataturbo.net decal on the rear subframe on my supra for lulz.

The most disappointing part about getting my DIYPNP from was the lack of MiataTurbo sticker in the box

Ok well i just got my orings.. nope the forge orings are not 1.75id 2" od 1/16 wall. They are little bigger and fatter than that, i'm guessing metric.

The ones i got work however they are noticeably thinner and a pain in the butt to install.

Also Vlad, I take it you also bought springs kit? Willing to part with a spring you arent using?

Hmm now that i look at it, isnt the stock spring yellow? Is the yellow spring in the package different from the yellow spring that comes stock with it?

I've no idea. I'll have to look at it later.

I'm actually planning to use a Synapse that I'm getting from Bryan. Bought this Forge while anebriated online and accidentally "buy it now"

Oh well, my bro has a bunch of MSM's so he'll probably get it from me if I don't end up using it.

On another note, there has been quite a big change of plans:

Sold the fmic piping I was going to use, because I bought a BEGi S4 kit with GT2871R turbo

Right now thinking of running that with my current GT2860RS using the internal gate and the rest of the "kit" (smaller .64 housing for quicker spool, and a less extreme setup that I hope will be easier on the stock rods for now). Then depending on how I like that and/or how soon I build the motor, I will either swap to the ETD setup and GT2871R or just slap in the 2871 onto the s4 setup.

I like to have many options

I never said no EFR

But realistically, the answer is: Not right now. I'll give it a year at least before I start shopping for one.

I might get an extra long block from my bro soon.
I might build said long block for big boy boost.
I might run said boost right away.
I might

Honestly EFR's are not going anywhere. If anything they'll just get more common and there might be used ones starting to pop up for sale in the future. I really don't care about ALLOFIT and having the kewlest newest turdblow on my car. I think the 2860RS or 2871R will work just fine for my little street car.

Later if I'm bored or want more or something else, I'll pursue the EFR option. Its definitely not off the table.
