1.6 and 1.8 AWR mounts are not interchangeable right? Otherwise I probably would. Or I'll build my own sometime.

I'm pretty certain that they are not interchangeable. You are correct.

All in due time. I'm not sure if it feels like the 6 speed moves more or if its just harder to shift when it moves around. I haven't even really pushed it yet because it only has 3 driveshaft bolts right now.

6 speed is kind of notchy, but the shifter is better than any miata 5spd.

I'm pretty stoked to have the 6 speed now. One less thing to worry about.

Picked up a new air filter from yank after hearing a story about a car on the dyno eating a cheap filter. AEM Dryflow 21-2011DK. 2.5 inch inlet.

Wooooo!! My work unblocked mt.net. Back to useless rambling all day!

I need to get everything done tonight and tomorrow night and be pretty much completely ready for thunderhill. Thursday and Friday are going to be full of other things.

To Do:

1. Buy 1.6 el chepo vatozone pads.

2. Swap to 1.8 brakes up front, and cheap pads all around

3. Clean wheels really well so that I won't ruin them if I drive in rain the next few days.

4. Add 3rd driveshaft bolt

5. Miataroadster shifter bushing should be here today or tomorrow, so install that (Ed you can have your shifter back now. I used it twice...)

6. Pack all my tools and spares.

7. Build everyones GPS units and maybe get them shipped.

8. Maybe play with building more ducting. But probably will be too lazy for that.

If I can do all that in 2 days I will be one happy camper.

Brakes done. No pictures cuz I was supposed to be at dinner an hour ago. Didn't trim the sheild enough so there is a ridiculously annoying squeal. It should self clearance eventually. Holy ******* *****. The 6 speed brought my car back to life. 5 speed+3.9+200hp=massive **** suckage. 6 speed+3.9+200hp=***** deep goodness.

Sucks for autoxing though, because you're constantly shifting between 2nd and 3rd.

6-speed + 3.636 + 350 rwhp FTW.

Might be true. But now that I have a 6 speed I hate how slow the 5 speed felt.
