This fuel table is creeping me out. This hits the targets. Is this just a crazy cam or something? I guessing that advancing the cam a few degrees will level-out at 4000rpm.

Looks similar to mine, just not as sever.

I'd expect if the boosted rows were removed, it would look more the same.

4k dip "should" go away if you get the intake tube close to the correct length.

It looks like my VE map when VVT is disconnected.

Or at least be reduced, yes. The dip is normal for an N/A BP. More pronounced with a square top that adds more above 4k than the USDM manifold.

I will be in DFW tonight and can bring you that adjustable cam gear that John was supposed to take with the motor. I don't know when you leave for Nawlin.

Want to save me some "trial and error" time and just tell me how many degrees to advance? If you do this, I promise to e-thug you to a degree of which you've never seen. E-thuggery is a gift.

Any ball-park estimates on how much to advance that intake cam? I'm all about saving myself time with board knowledge. I'm also exhausted and sweaty from re-dressing the threads on that BEGi spacer.

No more than 2* crank. Usually 1* crank (2*cam) is enough.

God damn, I am struggling to get this car road tuned, I blame the computer. I may just order an Enhanced MS2 and live in debt.

Look at this ------ log...same VE table, and it's different every time, the car still bogs, add spark and it bogs, take away spark and it bogs. I never hear det, but something is not right. Plugs are gapped down to .030", I don't know wtf is going on. How do you tune a car? lol

The front pack SM's were running 1:31's all weekend when NASA ran there in June. Mid pack was 1:33-1:34.

I ran a 1:36:1 in TTE and both the PTE Miatas put up 1:36:5's.

The new rules allowances for SM would have them point out in PTD/TTD this year.

I think you're a bit nuts calling a 1:27, but if you're ok with sporting the tampon on your dash for another year when you don't hit it, I'm ok with that.

But, on a high note, I've got 4 of those shitty red CARB gas cans to haul fuel to the track - you can use them if you promise never to bring them back.
