Take your spare TB and try to plug in the connector on your daily.

That requires effort and I can't read it in MS to know if it's working since I'm on MSpnp1AIDSFAIL.

I don't remember but guessing no because I have a 99 TPS on my 99 throttle body.

Interesting. I have RB 4-1 -> RS catted mid-pipe -> RS3 muffler and like it a lot, especially from 4-7k rpm and at decel. Is your hatred for the sound due to the lack of a cat?

Probably. It sounded cool at first, now after ~3-hours of track time it sounds like all the packing is blown out. I suppose that when the time comes I'll replace the muffler, and that will probably be this year. It sounded cool with very little rhasp before I tracked it. After 3-hours of seat time it now sounds like an SM.

The reason I will never race SM is because I cannot stand their exhausts. They are always the worst sounding things out on the track on the weekends.

that and everything else inferior about the SM setups. it's like they want to go slow.

Well as long as all your competitors are going slow also it is ok.

I have thought about spec e30. Those seem a bit more fun and less serious. They also do not sound like ****. One day maybe in the future if I get to the point of doing W2W racing I might do it.

I wonder if he changed vendors. The RS2 I had years ago lasted 50-70 track hours before it lost its packing but it fit well. The last two RB's have gone probably 200+hours before starting to lose packing and we have never outright broken a single RB exhaust component.

The 95R runs an RB resonated midpipe and muffler.

I have the RB resonated mid pipe. It sounds fine now. I had to beat the snot out of it to get it to clear the PPF. It made a wicked resonating sound at certain rpms when it was vibrating against the PPF.

My RS hits something on right turns. It's going to get a hard-mount to the subframe.

What header? I'm guessing not an RB or OEM. If the header flange is off, the midpipe and muffler will be even further off.

I have the Jackson Racing header so my SC will fit. This is the silver NB that was parked next to you guys with Trey at Hallett. That was a good time, btw. Enjoyed talking cycling with you.
