Four, one for each cylinder so I could trim each injector. I also advanced timing by flipping the crank wheel.

This sentence sounded odd, I realize it's because you didn't ask:

How many power cards did you NOT use?

I'm sure he could build one out of superfluous swaybars and exhaust parts

Nothing new because Hustler doesn't like cars anymore and the car is done. It's the best handling miata in the country, so why mess with perfection? He was crushing all of the drivers in the instructor group at the last track day we did a couple weeks ago. The car is damn good.

He's incapable of having an affordable hobby.

Strange problem... It appears the water pump belt pulleys don't line up. The SM damper cut one rib off the back side of the belt. The belt is flash with the front of the alternator pulley , slightly less flush at the water pump pulley, and spaced one rib back on the crank damper. Can I shim - out these pulleys?

Tips for removing the alternator pulley in the car?

Something is fucky here. I dont have this problem and I believe we have the same setup here, NA8 alt on a VVT block with some water pump and SM damper.
