Money.

If you've been waiting a while I would call whoever you bought the FPR from and confirm its shipping. I waited 2 weeks before i called on mine and they were "waiting on info" from me. Apparently they were unsure what model i wanted so they were just waiting for me to contact them...

I ordered it last week, so I am not too worried. If I don't get it by the end of the week I will go ahead and give them a ring.

I have more, that is just what I got from Jegs. I know for sure I need 2 90 degree -8AN fittings, other then that with what I already have I should have all I need.

Finally some numbers out of my turbo on an evo...it seems I was making power/numbers similar to a built evo before even with less displacement. This is a good thing for what's to come. The turbo hit 30 pounds of boost at 4,000 RPM in 3rd gear :-D stock turbo evos don't even do that.

Blue line-18 psi
Green line-30 psi
E85

God. Damn.

I cannot imagine that kind of retard power in a car nearly 1200lbs lighter....

Not to **** in your cheerios but a 4g63 is almost nothing like a b6, so those graphs don't really show anything.

I know it will be a beast but I think your curve and overall power will be different. we'll see

I don't know if it's really too far off...here is an evo with E85 and more boost with the same turbo I had before 5857.

30+ PSI

VS MINE 18 PSI as you can see I am making more power per psi then he is, he is on E85 vs my 93 has 11 pounds more boost and is on a DJ vs a MD.

Considering I will be revving to 8,000 how far really are our curves off? Also, this turbo is spooling 30 pounds faster then a stock evo XIII turbo, is there anyone running a evo XIII turbo on this forum? I am expecting 30 psi by 4,500 RPM.

1.6 vs 2.0 is a good amount of displacement. Their heads also flow really well.
Im thinking you will hit peak boost at least 500-800 later and make less torque.
But we're both just bench racing til you actually hit the dyno.

Another chart with weather correction set at zero, I do agree 18psi I think I will spool about 500 RPM slower with a little less TQ, I still feel I will have no trouble breaking 600 whp on E85.

EDIT: At 18 psi he was making apx 520 awhp on this dynapak which reads roughly 10-15 hp more then a DJ from what I have been hearing on the evo forums. Considering I was on E85, on that dyno I would be making slightly less power on my old set up. I think on my new set up, E85 and a DJ I can break 500 whp at 18-20 pounds of boost.

I dig your all-out style with ****, but didn't you learn your lesson from last time? Premature speculation™

I agree with 18. Even stock 4G63 heads flow better than most, if not all, B6's. Worked or not.

Good luck with all this. I'm excited to see what it makes, regardless of the actual number.

My last set up would have made 600 whp at 30 pounds according to my tuner, I just never pushed it due to the fact everything wasn't 100% IE stock mains, no billet OP gears, clutch, and fuel system.

I changed all that, everything will be able to handle the power minus the transmission which I think should hold for a bit fingers crossed.

The way I see it, Eliminator did it so can I...I have a lot of stuff he didn't have so I don't see the issue.

if your stock na 5 speed holds the 500+ wheel torque that this setup should produce, either: 1) my mind will be blown or 2) I will call bs.

Jason says if everything is done he will drive to MD for our fall dyno day. Then we can have Min and him see who puts down the most power, or who blows a motor first.
