And why not? Are they made by magical elves deep in the heart of tubro mountain?

You can buy bronze bushing stock fairly cheap, in many grades. I even have a tool post grinder setup, so I could get that pretty finish on the surfaces as well.

The idea of making these fit and getting rid of the smoked turn signal housings has crossed my mind. Considering the front bumper is fiberglass, I could do this relatively easily...

Didn't the fuji racing ITB equipped car have those lights fused into the bumper? IIRC it looked okay, but kind of ghetto.
