It's still a double-duty car. I'm going to retain AC to start with and see how that goes.

What I truly want is a Supermiata car, trailer, and tow vehicle. But these wants cannot be fulfilled for several years. It's not a financial issue so much as a "just doesn't fit in my current life circumstances" issue.

While Mobius-does-New Zealand, I've been busy spending his money and assembling my old/his new car.

This ceramic (oi) dual clutch is hiding inside the bell housing, and the block is now supported by a new mazda comp and AWR hybrid motor mount setup.

I also had the oil drain bung machined and welded up by Kris at KO Racing in Oregon City. I should probably remember to plug that for now.

Turbo build will happen this winter, as this will be pressed into daily driver duty once he returns, I'm assuming until Mrs. Mobius gets a new daily driver, and the U.S.S. Minivan is returned to Mr. Mobius.

I am however, interested in dyno'ing this car. It has a S2 throttle body, ported flat top, SuperMiata CNC head, all with a stock NB2 header, mid pipe, MSM axle back, and a stock crossover/airbox. Should be hilarious. I'll see if I can't clamp on a 21-23" tube to the throttle body, just to see how much that's holding it back.

As long as you don't need a trailer to get it over to KO Don't drive it over there during rush hour.

Well, TSE is finishing up the downpipe, and the lines should ship soon, and my Tial BOV is in my garage (but I'm sure greddygalant has enough bits in his garage to make all things happen), so Curly could have everything he needs to make preliminary boost before I get back ...

I think I have the same reroute spacer, I thought that top port was 1/8th NPT? You have a bolt in there?

Let me know if you need help with the beer. I give good moral support and am a good gofer.

I need a new fridge first, kegerator has been down for ~3 months while I deal with newborn and bottles. Of beer that is.

That "bolt" in the reroute spacer is a cheap 1/8 NPT plug I had laying around. I wish it was a flush Allen plug, but it was all I had at the time. If you look closely we had to flip the ignition noise reducer and shorten it's bolt to avoid the head of said plug.

Ah! ok. I'm using a hex head plug on mine at the moment. I'll probably put the Dash CLT sensor in there until I get a proper gauge.

We land in Portland July 12.

I am currently in Bali, for the next week. Had an awesome 42k mtn bike ride yesterday. It's hot here. We return to NZ late Sunday (Saturday to you peoples).

This has been a productive weekend at CSTG. The car is rolling under its own power with my engine and 949 twin-disk installed. Should be an update from Curly soon.

Rumor is Josh dislikes the twin disk.

Organic disks need to come back.

Need to take pictures first. Video of ceramic twin disc is sad, makes me look like a 16 year old learning stick.

Engine is in though, bringing it to work Thursday for a trans, coolant, and oil change. Just for kicks, who knows what kind of crap has accumulated in the engine during its stay at CSTG.

See my video lol. Killed it multiple time. So has everyone else. Hailey is the only person to drive it without killing it. But that was parking lot circle.

Have you tried some driving in anger with it. The downshifts are insane.

No wideband yet, not sure how much more this CNC head will flow and lean out the mixture. Plus IAC plug is broken from crash, AWR bolt is just sitting there, not tightened yet. Need to get it to AR this week to torque all the under chassis braces on. Don't wanna do that on my back. Then I'll see how it really is.

We should meet up and compare organic to ceramic. Also if on the stock ecu theoretically a maf should see the increase in flow and add fuel. Theoretically though...
