Default my diy turbo

so i got this car from a trade for my 94 gt protege,

nevada car, BP swap, full disc swap, mx3/gt interior, gt mouldings, 626 front lip, gt sideskirts, accord rear lip etc etc etc.
i kept the wheels and straight traded for a 92 silver miata B package with hardtop, auto and 150xxx miles, car came up from florida about 3 years ago never winter driven. so i lowered it and put my wheels on it and drove it basically stock all summer. then in sept i bought a 5 spd red car

took out the tranny and some other stuff and swapped it all into mine, painted the motor with new gaskets and a dual friction clutch

then i painted the roof and window frame to match the drags

polished the hood and put a front lip on it from a 240

now its all ripped apart again just finished my manifold and starting on my ic piping, also lookin into 1.8 brakes, agx strut. i also installed sparco sprints inside and am making a cage also

full stainless and tig welded, will get my ic piping almost done by this weekedn hopefully

sorry haha, so basically finished plans are a band aid set-up (i know, i know) tdo5 turbo, stock dsm bov recurculated, fmic off a jdm sr20, bipes acu, o2 clamp, vortech fmu, diy stainless manifold, and a oil cooler. Interior wise i already have a set of sparco sprints in, getting a deep steering wheel, carbon door panels and some sort of cage/roll bar. suspension i'm getting kyb agx struts with sleeves, possibley sways and im gunna make some body stiffners, o and a welded diff and if money is available i need to get some paint done, i got the usual battery damage and the p.o slid the hardtop down the quarter giving it a nice scratch

I was reading your plans and I said to myself "Well its not the way I would go, but it seems like this guy has his **** together to a reasonable degree". Then I came to this part:

why do people think this? a shiny surface is a shiny surface no matter what color it is.

I see what you're saying. it'd look better on a non-silver car.

haha as for the hood i havnt had a glare problem yet, to do it i paint stripped it down to the e-coat, DA sanded it off with 600, then DA wet sanded it with 1000, 1500, 2500, 5000 then polished with mothers billet wheel polish on a power ball, i like it but not really feeling it on my car cause i already got silver with a secondary roof color so i feel the hood makes it to much goin on, iunno i still have the stock hood so no prob. The way i see it is if everyone can rock there carbon hoods with just a clear coat why cant i have my aluminum hood bare to? its a lightweight hood, (i know its stock), thanks for the comments. il be welding up my ic pipes this weekend and starting on my dp.

heres some shitty pics, basically it 90s down from turbo, then 90s under the frame rail and around to the afm and the filter will poke out in the corner of the bumper opening. hopefully get some time to weld up the pipes tomoro and start on the dp

Umm....yeah...I did that for two weeks...it sounded cool, kinda like my motor was slurping down a milkshake. I redid it after I got a little unintended water injection due to God deciding to flood the Nile for two weeks afterwards.

The next time I pulled the intake elbow there was mad silt in the coupler joint.
