So im sitting here in the driveway trying to get the car to start on the ID1000 settings and I come to realize it's running stupid lean. WTF? I'd expect it to be fat! I had to add about 30-40 points everywhere on my Fuel VE Table to even get it to idle. Now that it's warmed up I'm letting VEAL cut it back down again, but the changes its making are pretty dramatic, sometimes adding even more fuel to some areas of the map. Again, this is not exactly expected. I'm not sure if I should ride this out or what. Req_fuel is set to 2.6 based on 1000cc scaled for 58psi base pressure.
I went to take it for a drive to see what VEAL would do in load cells rather than just freerevving in the driveway and I realized I haz no shifter. #justgordonproblems.

Start up enrichment? Did you change req_fuel? I've never had good luck just using req_fuel. When I switched from RX8 to GT500 I had to add a **** ton of fuel.

I'll be honest, I'm surprised no one has made that joke yet.
I'm not sure if these are what you are looking for, but it appears that I have a full set:
Not sure if they are new or used, does that matter? You are welcome to them either way!
Just Req_fuel, I've not touched ASE yet. The fact that you had to add fuel makes me feel much better.

Yeah, I had to do the same thing going from stock to rx-8. It gets you close but definitely not perfect. Also, I wouldn't worry at all about adding fuel. Nothing wrong with running rich. You had the wideband when running stock ecu right?

Nope, stock narrowband with stock ECU.
My only concern is that I'm going to end up running out of range on the top end. I'm in the 70 in some cells now unloaded and IIRC it only goes to 255? That means I'm using 27% of the scale at no load. This does not seem right.

Also, its not linear. Look at my map (I know its weak-sauce-psi)

Thats vacuum. If I let it autotune there it tries to add fuel. Mostly because I've been too lazy to set up over-run fuel and this is a bandaid that works. I need to move the 12kpa row because its useless but this is my dyno tuned fuel table and I'm not changing it lol. I don't even autotune anymore.

Also my TPS is all sorts of fucky so I just changed the TPS activation for over-run, well see if it fixed anything.

Well yeah vacuum, lol. I didn't realize you didn't have overrun on. Bandaid away sir, keep doing your thing mang
I noticed Soviet has a bunch of 10's in that row in his tune ...on his AFR target table. Methinks he likes fireballs

Hitting a cell that's 25-30 points off at 6800rpm provides some legit pucker factor, even when moving sloooooowly between cells. I was actually closer to 40+ points off in some cells. My VE table looks a lot like aidandj's above. On hot restarts I'm getting a little kickback right before it catches so I need to figure out how to tune that out. I had this problem before and never figured it out so I'll have to figure out where to do some reading.
The car drives A LOT better then it did this morning but its certainly not perfect at all. I'm going to smooth out the VE table manually and then probably VEAL it some more tonight, but I'm happy with the progress I've made today.

Or lean.
Crank at 10 degrees seems to work well. Mine would kick back at 15, all else unchanged.
It also kicked back when lean, though I don't remember now if that was cranking pulse or low ASE, but I think it was cranking pulse.
