While waiting for my turbo to arrive, TurboSmart released a BOV for the EFR6258 so I bought one (hell, I'd already forked out a LOT for the turbo and S&H to Australia so the cost of the TurboSmart BOV was almost insignificant).
The original BOV is "dinky" in comparison to the TurboSmart BOV:

Can't say I've noticed any whining from this BOV.

Hey 18psi, remember the drips on the side of the block you pointed out and I said "Oh yeah, that's fuel/condensation from when I was trying to get the MS sorted out" well... ***** back, and there is A LOT of it.
And its oil.
For those without the background info, this is NOT coming from the turbo, its coming from the head/manifold interface. I remember seeing a some oil in the exhaust ports when setting up the turbo stuff but I was not worried about it at the time. Now I'm worried. I'll be pulling the exhaust manifold tonight.

It's not what I wanted to see, to be sure. I've been checking my fluids and things but its usually early AM (dark) or after an evening romp session (dark) and I guess not paying close enough attention.
It's been smelling oily but I've mentally ignored it because now I'm running an open crankcase system with a breather. I shouldn't do that apparently.

Wait, how is valve stem seal failure producing a leak in the engine bay? That will make it leak into the cylinder and smoke after idling, yes, but how does it get onto the steering rack from there?
AFAIK failing valve seals won't pressurize the crank case and force it out the cam breather. How's the PCV?

Check the mixing manifold, its being dripped on from the top. There are similar drips below each exhaust port on the side of the block. No way you are pushing oil past the valve stem seals while under power unless I had an absolutely ridiculous amount of blow-by, literally enough to overpower the exhaust back pressure. If that were the case I'd think that would manifest itself in other ways.
Valve cover is unmodified, 323GTX PCV on the intake side, VTA catch can on the exhaust side. Dipstick stays in its home.
I'm just as boggled as everyone else. If I had to take a wild *** guess, I'd say oil is making it past the valve stem seals while the engine is shut down and super hot. If this is the case, I should see oil on top of the valves when I pull the manifold, no?
