I'm going to try and do some burnouts to round my tires out. Only one more track day this season and I gotta make em last.

If I did flat them its very minor. I do know I have a new vibration over 85mph that seems to be coming from the front end, maybe I'll swap front to rear and see if it moves.

They are probably 4-5 year old NT-01s so its probably time for new tires anyway.

Also, with the EBC hooked up and 5k launch, the car struggles desperately to grip with warm NT-01s on it. Acceleration is unreal and I'm going to break something if I continue to do things like that.

I was just about to ask if you've tried LC and FFS yet

I can't imagine how nuts that car would be with both set to KILL MODE

Be careful with FFS though, there's a good chance you'll swap ends at 120+

FFS? Wha?

No launch control either, just me dicking around. One think at a time.

Doesn't that use the clutch switch? I'd have to remove the little FM clutch interlock defeater chingadera to make that work.

Different clutch switch. Lemme find the diagram JoeP always posts.

Original is lost with the rest of his images. Here is the google cache

Ahhh. I know the red one is the clutch interlock, so it uses the green one? I thought that one was for the cruise control? It'll probably take me another year to figure out how to get this all set up anyway.

step 1) enable in TS
step 2) set up parameters in TS
step 3) ???????
step 4) replace tires and/or parts you smashed when you spun out

Humm...

G-Force CFG Carbon Fiber SA2010 Helmet

$260 for a carbon fiber auto racing helmet is sorely tempting.

I'm also waiting for Moti to update the Blackbird Fabworks website so I can figure out if I'm going to jump ship on my Hard Dog bar and buy a GT3 ooooor just get a harness bar for the HD. I blame RevLimiter's blog for this line of thought.

Once that is figured out, its time to address seats and harnesses.

Harness bar for the HD would take like an hour with gesso. Money is better spent elsewhere....like track days.

It upsets me that you don't go to MRLS multiple times a year.

And looking back I don't like adding up the money I spent on track days this year. Lets just say I could have been in on the TSE GB easily.
