ROFL I was about to comment on that street name too.
Nope, not I or my bro or my buddy who also has a ton of miata's.
Don't think I even know who that is.

*EDIT: actually it is my buddy. lol.
I'll ask him right now

If that's a factory aluminum hood then I will absolutely find a way to make this work.

Probably not all of them at the same time. The Subaru ones were ultracheap so I ordered them to see what's up, they are smaller than I thought they would be.

I considered putting them in the fenders and using them to pull air out from under the hood, kinda like how the british roadster guys do it:

Obviously not my pics but they get the point across. My concern is that while they would probably be functional, they would also require me to cut up my fenders AND engine compartment sheet metal, and they might look a little too 'rice' for me. Hood I can deal with swapping out, fenders are not something I want to tackle regularly.

Its exactly what I've been looking for but problem is I'm absolutely not free this weekend. Wanna play middleman? I was serious about sending money.

I'm using the Subaru vents in my hood. They definitely made a difference.

I did a bit of a hackjob putting them in but they are good. I ended up leaving the screens out of them for better flow. I haven't had the problem with leaves I thought I would.

Note the peeling clearcoat is merely camouflage hiding how awesome the car really is.

Since you are ignoring me on the Facebook I'm going to publicly shame you into coming to thunderhill September 9th and 10th. Vlad. Don't give G that hood until he has signed up.

haha yeah I had a feeling.

99.9% of the bro'z on CL list everything in "MINT" condition, then when you drive 25 miles to their place and waste an hour of your time, they casually mention the "MINOR INPERFECTIONS, HARDLY NOTICEABLE". What that actually means is: a corner of the hood is missing, there is a crack/hole in the actual metal right next to the latch, and the driver side is buckled from it being in a front end impact.

I'm so very glad you didn't make the drive all the way out here for that junk. He was dead set on the price too, even after I pointed out that it's seriously damaged.
