Thanks for the pics! Not sure if I'm going to mess with dual injectors or just go with the 2,000s.

Read up on the 2000s. They were originally big LNG injectors and aren't amazing for gas. The 1700s should get you what you want and idle better.

I don't think 1700s would be big enough. But I'll read up, I'm not familiar with them at all. I still have my ID 1000's so a dual injector 1000/1300 could be awesome since both are good injectors that I already have.

EDIT: If the 1,300's max at 500whp, the 1,700s max at 643whp. Just tired of incremental changes to the fuel system.

2000 would put your idle PW after dead time at like ... 0. Control resolution would be shiat.

But, you know what your are doing

1700s should do it imo. What DC are your 1000s running at. The 1700s flow over 2000 at higher pressures. Just can't figure out where I saw that.

ID 1300's, 65 PSI base pressure (and no fuel pressure drop at full power), 100% duty cycle.

This is at 25 or 27 PSI, 27 I think. Slipping on the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift. Figured I'd film this before swapping in the new trans to have a good comparison. Sorry tach drops out under load, I dunno why that happens, that started about 3 months ago.

The 40-80 was 2.94 seconds. It wasn't in boost at 20 with the stock converter, it was around 20 PSI by the time it got to 40, hit full boost once it was in 2nd.

I have, the best they can do is regrinds at 1,100 + shipping both ways. We'll see, but that's steep!

How does your car's trans compare to the way mine is shifting in that last video?

night and day it feel's sharper than before don't know why it might have been his changes to the box or the converter there is virtually no delay i guess we will see the power difference and how it comes on in two days on the dyno

[QUOTE=patsmx5;1380380]Hypothetical question.....

If I wanted to make say, 600-700whp, what cams would you guys recommend? It's a VVT head. Assume no catalytic converter, free flowing 3" exhaust of course, and some ID 2000's for fueling. The rest of my fuel system will take it, and I'm pretty sure a 69mm turbo will deliver the air needed.

Wondering what kind of cam specs I should be shooting for?. The head has +1 inconel exhaust valves, stock size stainless intake valves, and ported head, flattop intake manifold.

Custom ground, or off the shelf?

Have you looked at what others have done with high HP builds?
2JZ
k20,K24
4G63
Except for some rod ratio differences, you are talking about a cylinder with 4 valves. There should be some common camshaft specs that cross over between these motors.
my two cents,
- JB
