I don't understand how that damage came from a deer. On a car the height of a Miata, the deer would have its legs taken out and end up lying half way up your hood or into your windshield..

This look more like you pissed someone off and the kicked your headlight and fender..

I know, it confused me at first too. But i was very lucky and clipped just the butt end of the deer. I still think i made out considering how bad it couldve been.

I can't believe what looks like a fender bender totalled a car out. Labor rates kill cheap cars I guess.

Also, I can't believe I've looked at this thread twice, I should have learned my lesson the first time.

Vlad - It wasn't me, but you definitely deserved that neg prop

Welcome to the forum! I appreciate you finding and uploading unmolested pictures. I think you can be saved. I realize you are young and require some mentoring and encouragement to flourish. I also understand that most of the influences around you are not pushing you in good directions. Be careful not to waste your hard-earned cash on counterproductive parts.

We are willing to help advise you if you are interested. We have no desire to steer you wrong, but often the young guys make stubborn mistakes and rash decisions that don't help them in the long run.

Good luck.

Wow. It's like you took the Clubroadster swagstance check-off list and went through it line for line.

Such instagram. So depth. Many photography.

You really want to learn about the car? Put it ALL back to stock. Start over. Then mod accordingly. You can't just slap random swag swag swag cheap parts on it and expect it to function properly.

I like the paint color.

And i'd like the wheels if they fit. I think they'd look baller on my Escort.

I'm sorry i know I'm young and inexperienced but I have to say, just because a part is cheap does not mean it sucks or even remotely bad. Megans have a bad rep but the Ez street series is really quite well designed and good coilover for the money. Now I dont know if there gunna blow out or what cause there "cheap" but for now Im perfectly content. And for functionality I have to admit speedbumps and this car don't mix but it handles beautifully, and drive straight and true.

Don't take this the wrong way, but it handles beautifully because you're unaware of how bad it is.

But if you're more concerned with lows than goes, then carry on.

First of all, never mention "Stance" again.

The Megans are milquetoast coilovers with milquetoast generic valving and milquetoast generic spring rates with no real redeeming qualities other than maybe riding a little better than horribly blown stock stuff, and they DO get really low if that's what you're after.

For probably similar money, slightly more, you could have put together a set of NB bilsteins and thrown a set of Ground Control sleeves at it with spring rates of your choice. (Many threads concerning effective rates for these cars on here.)

You don't HAVE to spend $3k to get a great suspension on these cars, but it certainly helps. $1000 can get you a pretty decent and fast setup. Stance coils don't apply here.

Thanks for the info, I'm just going through the suspension part of the forum and I'm finding a lot of new information. For instance : Car doesn't need camber kits to adjust camber. Now that may be basic to you but i own 2 hondas so this is a new concept to me. However it is very cool. I am very much about the low. I guess I'm a "stancefag" or whatever the popular term is these days. I would love to find a happy medium between the both. Where should i start looking if i were to pursue that direction?

step 1 of turbomiata.net: forget everything you learned in ricertown aka hondaland
step 2: read read read
step3: read read red
step4: never, ever mention "stance" or "hellaflush" or any of those retarded ricer terms
step5: don't mention or post pictures of your "hardtop hat" or whatever that gayness is called
step6: repeat steps 2 and 3 infinitely

I'm surprised your parents let you park those shitty cars outside their nice house...

Also, I'm sure some VW dbag would give you good money for those wheels. So you could sell your wheels and your shitty coilovers, and with the money buy some TR wheels and some Bilstein shocks and add an ebay coilover sleeve kit. All of sudden your car becomes 100x better and you can actually drive over speed bumps.

Stop asking, start reading. Everything you need is here, look for it.

We are into function. Many here are engineers and fabricators. A large number of us track our cars regularly on real racetracks. Some race competitively, and some just like passing Corvettes on the track to humiliate them for sport. We don't just want to be quick for 15 seconds on the street or be cute for the other little boys at the shopping center parking lot, but quick and reliable for 20 minutes at full throttle. I want brakes that can handle 50mph-130-50-130-50mph for 40 minutes straight without failing. We are into shocks and springs that can handle R-compound tires or slicks and soak up clipping the curbing on the apex of a corner at 70mph without unsettling the car. We are into doubling or tripling the stock horsepower repeatably without breaking our cars. If you want to be faster, better, and smarter, come with us.
