My intention was to figure out where he was staying and sneak in under the cover of darkness to draw kittens and penisus on his quarter, but I ended up being too busy for such shenanigans.

Ok you guys are hilarious but... NO.
Alright, prepare yourselves. Text, pics, videos to come.
Got the fuel pump replaced Friday night. Then later that night while cruising around my SPA gauge quit working.
Jeff took this pic while I was swapping the pump:
First session was lead-follow, no passing. Did that and it was peachy. Pretty slow. Second session was the same, lame.
Third session I was lined up first, but then a bunch of instructors bombed out on the track right in front of me. I didn't KNOW they were instructors until later, but they were holding me up, one or two of them were in turbo cars and V8's. Finally got all the way around them but kinda lame anyway, stuck
in traffic the whole time.
Lining up for the 4th session:
Final session was a blast, had an off, still had a blast. You can watch it here:
I also bought the photo package. It was spendy but I think it was worth it: First track day, Laguna seca, and awesomeness.
My best time was a 1:54.xx and I'm pretty happy with that all said and done.
Here are some of my favorite pics:
You can see a strip of rubber flying off my front tire, getting peeled off by the bumper to fender mounting tab! Bent it out of the way after this and as far as I know there was no more tire shaving.
After that session, I found a shaving still attached to the tab:
Martin's right, I'm starting to like this dent. Can't see it while I'm driving...
Finally, MT.net represent:

Good lord, that pic with the string of rubber is friggin' amazing
How does the sidewall on the tire look now? I don't rub with 225 on 9, but I've also got a lot more ride height than you. Time to borrow the fender roller and a heat gun and give those fronts a bit of love.

Awesome dude! Car looks great mid corner. Room them fenders, or just keep cornering like that and do it "naturally".
My car looks so tiny next to yours in the parking lot.
Have you considered drilling a hole in the QP and pitting a hook in it and yanking the dent out?
So jealous of the track day!

The driver side fenders are already rolled flat and pulled a bit as well. The issue is the retarded offset of these wheels, they're only a 20. With proper 15x9 36 offset no rubbing even with a lower ride height.
I wish I had been able to get the 32s but they were sold out.
Martin, didn't you say you'd be willing to trade me if I don't like my 20s?

Thanks Josh.
So, back to troubleshooting... lol
I already explained the weird issue where the car seemed to not be getting fuel. On the drive back home, with the new fuel pump, it did it again, TWICE! First time I pulled off and let it sit for a couple minutes and it was fine. A couple hours later it happened again! This time I happened to have my phone available, so I shot a video. Also: Video does include some full throttle acceleration ... on the low boost setting.
This second time the car was only off for, what, 15 seconds and the car fired right back up? WTF?

I haven't a clue what could be causing it but my best guess due to the randomness of it is gunk in your hard line.
I was thinking about when we were discussing it last and I had a fairly good idea if you can't figure it out.
For my camelback bladder I use this really long thin brush that is connected to a coiled flexible line. Maybe try purchasing one and run it as far down your hard line on either side and see if it hits anything.
Either that or find an air compressor with really crazy high output and blast any **** out of it.

I don't know. Any idea where I should look for that? There's a patch harness which connects the ECU into the standard harness and the ECU is just tucked up behind the dashboard and zip tied in place.
Jeff, I don't see how it could be that, since the behavior is exactly the same and then POOF it's back to perfect, like nothing ever happened.
Weird stuffs.

I guess relay or whatever the AEM is using to trigger the fuel pump, but it's probably all stock wiring. I'd replace the fuel pump relay before cleaning out the hard line.
Did the assembly look correct when you took it out?

The fuel pump assembly? It looks fine to me, pics are earlier in this thread. I'll check the fuel pump relay, but if it's fried would it be intermittent?
To me it seems like it's gotta be heat-related with a sensor somewhere, or a bad connection somewhere. Yes?

No sensor I can think of will cause you to lose fuel when hot.
Maybe fuel pump relay is overheating. I am unclear on failure modes for that relay, though.
I see a fuel pressure gauge in an AC vent in your future. Frustrating problem.

I think I should go ahead and order:
-a new, single-din head unit
-boost gauge
-fuel pressure gauge
and install them in the extra space left by the radio.
If it's misfiring, that would also cause the AFR gauge to show the lines too right? What if it's going so rich it's misfiring? dumping fuel?
My fuel econ did seem to get worse.
Also: Say I've got a bad connection in the wideband wiring to the ECU. If it suddenly lost that signal, any idea what would result?
Also, Richard, I need to return your radiator. Any particular time better to drop it off, or can I just bring it to the track day on the 22?
