You are a generous soul Richard, and Aidan. I am usually off Sunday and Monday but this week I work Sunday to cover for a co worker. Once I get the other shell here I'll have more direction of where to go, and that's where the real help can be had. Really though next is motor pull. I'm close, if I had some help I think I could finish the rest of the disassembly of the car in a full day.

I may be in town on a Sunday in the next couple weeks if that smurf ends up working out. I'll definitely text you if I am.

Dude I hope that smurf works out. I really liked that car. I probably should have bought it. Oh well, on to 10AE beauty and the headache that is OBD2.

But the msm was obd2. At least, originally. What is the problem with OBD2 now?

Tis a hassle for registration. I have been registering the car at my cousin's address in Albany but then my DL has to be there and it's a mess. Plus illegal.

Aaaaand just sent payment for the 10AE shell. If anyone has a tow dolly or trailer I can use that'd be awesome. Otherwise it'll be u-haul and a pickup from work.

I am excite.

Ha they wanted me to take a 2013 3/4 ton crew cab Chevy Duramax but too much hassle dealing with the 3" receiver.

The smurf will come. Is it in Seattle proper?

**** I would have taken that in a heartbeat. Pickups are my thing.

A ways south. And has a motor.

No worries. If all goes according to plan it won't even be leaving the Seattle area. Except the hardtop

Doing brake research and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I kept my rear sport brakes and sold the fronts since I plan to run a BBK in the front.

I'm drooling over these calipers:
NEW SIX PISTON DynaPro 6 Caliper Big Brake Kit Upgrade for Big Brake Kit PURCHASED TODAY! for Miata

But figure that's probably way overkill. All I really need is the regular 11" setup from 949, FM or Goodwin, right?

Should I just go for the 11.75" kit and be done with it? What will match my rear sports best?

According to Emilio and Andrew, the 11.75" kits match up best with the 11.75" kits. The 11.00" kits match up best with standard 1.8L rear brakes.
