Unless someone can spoonfeed me TSE wheel on a VVT with megasquirt I don't have time to mess with it. Need to finish moving this weekend.

I believe my ATI damper came with a 4 tooth wheel that worked. I dunno if the stock 4 tooth wheel would fit (never tested it) but the ATI that I bought from FM had it's own wheel that of course bolted right in.

The two black wires on the single brass ring terminal? They go to one of the bolts in the 90° steel bracket that connects the upper intake to the lower intake, directly below the throttle body and above the alternator at the front of the intake manifold. Unless I missed what we were talking about.

^^^what he said. Right now they are all just bolted to the top of the intake manifold because it was easy to get to.

That is definitely a 12+1 crank trigger wheel. A normal NB trigger wheel has 4 teeth on it, so you'll see two pairs of pulses between each single and double pulse on the cam trigger.

I dunno about about grounds at the back of the head, all of the electronics grounds on my 99 have always run to the front of the intake manifold.

Stock trigger wheels don't fit on ATI dampers (at least, not without some creative machining). Do you have an ATI on this car?

Auction car trigger wheel is good. Going to try and pull it today.
No way grounds would go to the back of the head. I had to cut the split loom to get them where they are.

I thought DIY added the FM wheel profiles to the MS software? We have a thread about it somewhere on here.

Before you go doing all this work it might be worth firing up the MS and checking to see if its there.

But then I wouldn't do a bunch of unnecessary work. And we know that's not how I roll. Can someone check for me?

It's 4 bolts, it's not a lot of work.

And he doesn't have an ATI, it's a stock pulley. Slipped too if I'm not mistaken.

Okidoke gentlemen, so what's the game plan today? Need to get this timing issue sorted and get her started up today. Glass goes in tomorrow, and then it's alignment and tuning and done.

My current ETA for home is 3 pm. What can we do?

E's and I's backwards? There's not much to mess up to cause it to spit and backfire really. Still I've installed a cylinder head on my miata many times and on like the 9th time I successfully put the head gasket on backwards... **** happens, nobody's perfect!

That's super weird. If that's TDC I'm at a loss as to why it'd be like that, sorry boys. Hope
You figured it out.
