Wife is back to work, so my only free days to work on the tata are now consumed by child rearing. This build might just creep for a while, dont know when ill find time to tune more.

****, forgot to get you a pic of vics ****, still need?
Buy "listen up" on ebay for $5. Obtain 1/4 MNPT to 3/8" barb, perform dremel stuff, glue it in with the adhesive of your choosing.
6 ft of 3/8" air compressor line from the depot for $4, and I still need to make the other end that bolts to the block.
im going to have about $10 of materials into it, and $80 in labor lol

Dimensions modified slightly, un-threaded shank just a bit too long. Also the major diameter on this one is a little large as it was the test piece to see what kind of cuts he(my friend) could make. He said it didnt like anything under 0.020 DOC, so he tried to home run the OD and it deflected more than he thought. Program has been modified accordingly. Im told this 750 is still a bitch to machine.

Ive only had to deal with it on boring operations myself, Ive had to scrap a few pieces.
BTW, your piece is in the chuck, smaller ID is established, then got busy again.

Yeah, don't ever buy the black $20 rug from walmart. Buy a $20 rug sure, but not a black one. You should see the pictures I tried to take of the moon the other night...
Yep, these are the jegs lines. The seating flare inside the 3an line is brass or something on these lines, the other lines were steel or something light colored. Hopefully the brass is less prone to cracking...
You could use whatever 14" 3an line you felt like using too, I just like the cheap stuff.

Theyre not perfect, but I nailed most of your dimensions pretty good, especially for a baby china lathe. I made sure that the ODs were +0, -0.001 and the IDs +0.001, -0 if they weren't exact.
No hurry, unlike some people. Let me know when those are done and ill put these in the mail. If you need em sooner, just let me know and ill put you in the honor system.
