Glad you went with the threaded bung. Good insurance if you happen to bang the -AN fitting on something.

I cut an aluminum turbo drain fitting and used that as the bung.

Oil pan is on. Head studs are screwed into the block. Head gaskets come in tomorrow so hopefully I get the head on then.

Went from a stripped interior with race seats.

To this red interior that I picked up from Steath97. I also installed cruise control.

Are you using the vac can for cruise? I want to try one of these guys at some point. I'm worried all the highway hills will make the stock cruise box kinda useless with boost.

I am using an OEM cruise control system. At the end of the day I have realized for the next year or so I will be driving the car on the street. I wanted an interior to cut down on heat and figured dealing with stock seats and seatbelts is easier then the race seats.

I agree, I'm making my car more streetable than trackable at the moment. Ac and cruise are the two biggies, as much time as I spend on the highway.

My car had cruise but someone cut the actuator box out. Can the stock cruise still accelerate or hold throttle at 100kpa? I'm finding mixed results in searches.

FWIW, stock vacuum-based boost control worked just fine on my NB, even when it went into boost going up hills in 5th.

Cool, Thanks for the input! I might try and use the stock stuff first then, it's a hell of a lot cheaper...
